From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the immaculate cleanliness and meticulous attention to detail throughout the entire property. It was evident that the staff takes great pride in maintaining a high standard of hygiene, instantly making us feel at home.
Upon entering, we were warmly greeted with a thoughtful welcome pack that included refreshments and drinks, setting a delightful tone for our stay. The kitchen was a fully equipped, boasting an abundance of facilities, from pots and pans to washing machines and dryers, all of which were well-maintained and easily accessible.
The beds were incredibly soft and comfortable, ensuring a restful night, and the room's thoughtful amenities, such as hair dryers, lamps, and alarm clocks, added to our convenience.
The location was ideal, offering easy access to shops, restaurants, numerous attractions, and the beach. Despite its convenient position, the property remained pleasantly quiet, providing a peaceful retreat.
The only minor downside was the parking situation. Although we were provided with parking permits (much appreciated), finding available spots was challenging due to the area's zoning rules. While this did pose some inconvenience, it's understandable and doesn't reflect on the property's quality. However, future guests should be aware of this aspect if travelling by car.
In conclusion, I highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a clean, comfortable, and well-equipped place to stay. The combination of excellent facilities, attentive service, and cosy accommodations made our stay truly memorable. We will definitely be returning and eagerly recommending it to family and friends! "Hanover Hideway is very clean and tidey."
Very clsoe to all amnities and just few minutes walk from the Sacarborough South Beach. When we arrive there is more beds and spaces than we expected. The parking permit and spaces were arranged to accomodate our 2 cars in advance.
Denise the owner is lovely and amazing.
I would highly recomend Hanover Road Hideway.
When I come back to Scarborough I would love to stay here again.

Instructions were clear and concise.

"We absolutely loved staying here!"
We were right next to the railway station and everything was within a 20 minute walk at most. The facilities were great, with the three bathrooms working great for the six guests, and the kitchen well equipped to cook in. The communication throughout was also brilliant so we would definitely recommend staying here!

"This was a late booking as our hotel booking was cancelled due to renovations running late and we struggled to find suitable accommodation for our needs."
Hanover hideaway was exactly as described a well kept, spotless roomy, accommodation.The property location is very central and includes free parking,we really enjoyed our stay.We used the accommodation as a base and took advantage of all the local restaurants but the property really does have everything you could require.

"A lovely home with everything you need for your stay."
Great having 2 bathrooms. Few minutes to the railway station for Filey, Bridlington and main bus stop for Whitby. Good that there were parking permits.
The settee was a bit uncomfortable and there were too many stairs for my elderly father. Was a bit put off at first seeing the shop front was shabby, but apart from that it was perfect.

"Highly recommend Hanover Hideaway ."
Excellent accommodation spotlessly clean one of the best equipped holiday properties we've stayed at. Within walking distance of everything so no need to move the car once parked ! 3 toilets makes life very comfortable for a group of 6 ! Nothing negative to say great helpful communication as well .

The owners have been so lovely, helpful & forthcoming, so many thanks to them. A great location, Scarborough is a great town to holiday in, it has a real buzz, with plenty of things to do for all the family, with the cottage being just a 100metres or so to the rail station & key bus services, access to other areas is quick & easy. I thoroughly recommend a stay in this excellent property.

"Excellent! This lovely property is beautifully finished, very well equipped & comfortable."
Situated in the centre of Scarborough, only 100 metres from the rail station, it is an ideal location for exploring this bustling town. The owners are lovely, so helpful. Upon arrival, the house had been beautifully decorated for our Xmas stay, also with a welcome package of food & wine, (a lovely touch), we can't thank them enough. If Sykes customers are thinking of visiting North Yorks, I guarantee a great time in Scarborough, more so if they choose this first class property.

"Beautifully fitted house, deceptively spacious."
Plenty of bathrooms for the five of us and lovely relaxing lounge. Very handy for the town centre and sea front. Had a lovely meal at the Eat Me cafe bar above the theatre on the corner of the road.
Pubs worth visiting within walking distance include Alma Inn, Craft and Stumble Inn, different and not chainy.
Suit family or 3 couples.
Possibly add DVD player in lounge .
Great break thanks, would return.

"Clean and comfortable place to stay."
Great location for arriving by train, (over the road from train station). The facilities were outstanding, Washer and drier made life really easy meaning I could still keep up with the wash load, with little disruption to my holiday. (as cook, cleaner and bottle washer, to my husband and four children a holiday can sometimes mean no break for Mum). I had a wonderfully relaxing time.
We were situated in walking distance of some lovely beaches, such as Cayton Bay and Cornelian Bay both accessed from the Cleveland way for lovely day hikes.
South bay beach is just 10 mins away, Great for an evening stroll along the beach and end with delicious Fish and Chips by the lighthouse, You could even be lucky enough to see a pod of Dolphins in the Harbour as we did.

Really clean and well presented. It was a great base for us to explore Scarborough and the surrounding area and we could just leave the car! We will definitely revisit this property. Highly recommended!

The property is centrally located in Scarborough so easy to get to the seafront, beach, restaurants shops etc. The property is well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. The welcome pack on arrival was also a nice touch. Would stay here again.
