  • "We have just had the pleasure of spending a few days in this gem of a cottage."

It is a well equipped property situated in the heart of Snainton. It is conveniently situated in the heart of Snainton. It is well located for other places of interest in the area and also not far from The Coachman Inn which serves great food every day. We would definitely recommend Little Pines and hope to return in the future.

Thank you very much for your feedback, we are so pleased that you enjoyed the cottage and found everything that you needed. We hope that you are able to visit us again soon. Many thanks! Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely stay at Little Pines and the village of Snainton was wonderful, really quiet and peaceful."

The cottage is down a little lane and is really quiet. There are some great running routes from the cottage and lovely forests to walk , run or cycle in, especially at Dalby Forest. Just make sure you get your monies worth for the £10 peak season parking at Dalby Forest. A few miles from the cottage is Wykeham Forest which has really peaceful walking routes. We also visited Whitby and York which were both great. The cottage had everything we needed and was like a home from home. We would definitely come back. loved it. Chris and Emma

Thank you for your detailed feedback, it sounds like you did a lot of adventuring and packed a lot in to your holiday - you may need another holiday to recover. The cottage is situated very much for people to enjoy the outdoors, running, cycling and walking - so glad you were able to enjoy these activities. We hope to see you again for more adventures. The area is lovely, it's a shame there is no local shop. Very nice place if you want a quiet relaxing holiday. Not so good for young teens.

Thank you for your feedback, I am glad you enjoyed the cottage. We used to have such a wonderful village shop but sadly no more. Best wishes. Charlotte Property Owner

Ample parking for both of our cars. Not far from major towns that we wanted to visit, whitby, scarborough, York, Bridlington, very quiet area too so a good night's sleep is rewarding, all in all, we'd go back there.

Hi Thank you for your feedback, glad you enjoyed your stay. I did check the fire and it was working fine, I think it probably took a time to come on. We look forward to seeing you again in the future. If you come I will come and go through the fire with you. Best wishes Charlotte Property Owner

We initially thought the downstairs bathroom would be a little inconvenient but the layout worked out really well. Our dog loved the garden which was really secure and had lots of spaces for him to investigate. The only negative is the double bed felt really small compared to our double at home. Will definitely book again

Thank you for your feedback. Glad you enjoyed the bathroom - everyone always comments on the shower! Hopefully see you again in the future. Property Owner

Cottage was lovely and the owners more than happy to help with anything, the garden was great for our dog, nice and secure the only small downside was the bathroom being downstairs, but we managed and the bathroom was lovely, great shower!! Could do with a couple of extra mugs and spoons in the kitchen. Would love to return in the future

Hi Emma. It was lovely to meet you this weekend, I'm pleased you enjoyed your stay! We will make sure we take a look at the mugs situation and rectify it. We will look forward to seeing you when you return! Property Owner

  • "Lovely clean cottage."

Comfy sofas, well stocked kitchen. Great power shower. Everywhere spotless and well maintained. Downsides: the downstairs bathroom. Beautiful bathroom with complementary toiletries, but accessed through the porch then the kitchen. Bit of a trek at nights, though may not be a problem for some TV. Bit of a struggle trying to get the freesat box to come on. Took about 10 mins each time. We couldn’t get it out of ‘starting’ mode. Would also just drop for no reason. Possible Wi-Fi issue?? Very quiet pretty village but no grocery shop so take plenty of basic supplies. Handwash, dishwasher tabs and washing up liquid supplies in the cottage

Thank you very much for your review, I'm so pleased you enjoyed the cottage. I will definitely check the Television and the dropping out issues tomorrow as soon as the current guests have left and if needed will get that rectified. I hope we can welcome you back soon. Property Owner

  • "The cottage was very clean and welcoming."

It is very quiet and the garden is a terrific area for the dog to run around in. There are lovely dog walks in the area and we think we found a different one every day. Television takes a little getting used to as we are not very good with technology. Snainton fish and chips are very good. People at the stables and in the area are very friendly and helpful. We were very sorry to come home. Will definitely visit again if we get the chance. Thank you so much for making our time here so relaxing and stressless. Rosemary & Russell and Lucy the dog.

Thank you for your amazing feedback! It was an absolute pleasure to meet and chat with you both and I hope your trip ended up being a successful one. Please pop and see us again soon! Property Owner

  • "Lovely cottage, nice area and reasonably close to all areas required."

Only two downfalls is no washer, this is based in an outside building shared with next cottage and possibly stables. Also bathroom is downstairs, not good when needing the toilet during the night.

Thank you for your review, I'm so pleased you enjoyed the cottage. I would like to assure you that although the washing machine is shared between the 2 holiday cottages it is not used by the stables as they have their own washing machine. The cottage was in easy reach of the costal resorts and pretty villages inland. It was interesting being so close to the stables but we did find that there was quite a lot of traffic and footfall passing the cottage and garden which could be quite distractingly at times.

The kitchen table legs are loose, when you pull out the table the angles are off. We would have very much liked chairs at the table instead of the bench. One extra toilet would have been a great bonus! Parking easy and location good for travelling around the area.
