  Hosts are very helpful and excellent at communicating. Driveway , secure garden, dog friendly House with wood floors , utility room for wet boots and coats.Within walking distance of beach. All amenities making it home from home. We have been twice this year and hopefully it will be available when we can go next year.

• "Our third visit , perfect home from home what more can we say , previous visits have been in February so haven’t had the opportunity to fully appreciate the back garden before , this time, with the weather kind to us all weekend and with the sunset later we were able to appreciate and enjoy the garden which is a perfect setting for our dogs autumn or winter."

• "This is the 2nd time this year we have stayed at Hardy Cottage!"

  The cottage is cosy, clean and delightful, the welcome pack is exceptional as are the fresh flowers in the kitchen, the thoughtfulness of the owners providing everything anyone would need for an enjoyable stay is outstanding, nothing is too much trouble for them. If you are contemplating in booking Hardy cottage we highly recommend you do, you won’t regret it!! It is perfect for dogs with an enclosed safe garden with lots of choice of outside seating. The gardens are maintained to a high standard and 2 cars can be parked safely on the drive. We will definitely be booking this cottage in the future, it is a great location for exploring Anglesey and local shops, restaurants and Benllech beach Perfect in every way!!

  The welcome pack was much appreciated. The garden was also lovely. Loved that there were some spices and seasoning in the cupboards (I had brought my own, but this touch is so useful in holiday lets). The only small thing was the tiny bathroom, I am only 5ft2 and kept bashing my legs on the radiator, but all things considered, it was manageable for a week. thanks for a lovely stay.

• "We have stayed in many properties over the 9 years we have been visiting Anglesey."

  This one is by far the best and our favourite. The property is well maintained and furnished and cleaned to the highest standard. Some thoughtful welcome gifts on arrival, which were very much appreciated. A secure garden which meant peace of mind for our labradors. A quiet location, but close to all the amenities in Benllech. Finally lovely communication with owners, who take time to read their feedback and respond. We will definitely return, and thank Elaine and Ian for sharing their fantastic property.

• "We have stayed in a great deal of holiday cottages and Hardy cottages has come out as one of the best."

  Very clean, comfortable and organised. The only thing that was not mentioned is that there is a large fridge/freezer. The very large T.V was a great success with the grand children after a busy day out. Thank you for making our holiday perfect.

  Kitted out to a high standard, with all home comforts provided you can't ask for more. The owners always make us feel welcome with a selection of food and drink always awaiting us on our arrival along with a friendly note and a lovely box of chocolates welcoming us back for another stay.   Our hosts, Elaine & Ian have made this detached bungalow a real home from home for their holiday makers. The furnishings & fitments are so very comfy & all extremely tasteful. There are so many extra little niceties - you want for nothing. We came here for our 34th Wedding Anniversary & two days after that a special birthday for me - we have been spoiled. We've been made so welcome we would definitely wish to come back. Our young Labrador also settled in very nicely.   Everything exactly as described and more, Very clean and comfortable stay for a relaxing week. Very convenient for visiting various places of interest and beaches. Enough shops etc a 5 minute walk away. Our two elderly King Charles cavaliers enjoyed the large fully enclosed rear garden, A credit to the owners. Thank you.

  Milk butter cake wine biscuits bread. Thank you very much. Also lots of other extras you don’t usually receive, eg clingfilm kitchen foil dishwasher tablets washing machine tablets to name but a few. Very well equipped. Property was very clean and so comfortable. Home from home. The garden is fully dog proof so you can just open the door and let the dog out. Our poodle loved it. This property makes a great base for exploring Anglesey. Definitely 5 star & would recommend without hesitation.

  It was spotlessly clean and spacious. Location was perfect. We appreciated the extra touches the owner provided. The patio very nice and used frequently. The only minor issue was that a bbq was advertised and instructions on how to use it were in the bungalow but no bbq was provided. We would definitely return and recommend to family and friends.

• "This is a lovely property that is well situated in the charming town of Benllech being close to the beach and all the amenities that Benllech offers."

  It is handy for the rest of Anglesey as well. The property itself is very comfortable and well equipped by Elaine and Ian with all their guests needs catered for. On a cold week in January it was very cozy and a lovely place to come home too after walking and spending long days on the beaches. Would highly recommend and very deserving of 5 stars.

  After a phone call the owner came and helped us. He was very friendly. Hardy Cottage is a fantastic, comfortable bungalow with everything you could possibly need for a good holiday. Even although it was end November the house was warm and cosy. We had a wonderful week of weather. Hardy Cottage is in a perfect position to explore the island. The welcome pack was more than generous and very much appreciated. All the little touches like the welcome blackboard made it special. We certainly will return and will recommend Hardy Cottage to friends. It is a real "home and from" plus.

  Benllech village provides local shopping, several places to eat in or takeaway, and a welcoming pub serving delicious food. The fabulous beach is only a short stroll from the bungalow. Hardy Cottage is spacious and comfortable, furnishings and facilities all of good quality. Lovely garden area fully secure for our dog. Would not hesitate to recommend, we will definitely be returning.

  The kitchen was well stocked. The only thing missing for us was a bread bin but I have noticed in other Sykes cottages I have stayed in that this is not supplied. As an older lady with some mobility problems a corner stool in the shower room would have been helpful. The goodies you left for us were much appreciated. Your stools in the lounge were lovely, we are both going to order a hypo now we are home. Thank you once again for a lovely stay

  The cleanliness of this, obviously, well loved holiday cottage was second to none - superb! The attention to detail and the facilities all went to making us feel at home straight away. We have stayed there before and it was just as good then. The welcome pack was thoughtful and was very much enjoyed! Even the slippers (not that we used them as we took our own!) made you feel like you were staying at an expensive hotel - with our two dogs which we would not have been able to in an expensive hotel! Will book again and most certainly would recommend!

• "This is an excellent bungalow."

  It is well-furnished, well-equipped, comfortable, has an enclosed garden, and is about 10 minutes downhill from the beach, and 10 minutes plus uphill from the beach back to the bungalow. A Tesco extra and co-op are with 10 minutes walk. We would have preferred a warmer duvet as we found the bedroom a little cold. Overall, the bungalow was a great base for a holiday with our two dogs. We will certainly consider booking again.

  The welcome pack was amazing plus all the toiletries. The owners have definitely gone the extra mile at this cottage and probably one of the best properties we have stayed in. Spotlessly clean with such comfortable beds too. Lovely quite location with just a short walk down to the beach. Benllech has a wide variety of shops so everything is virtually on your doorstep. We stayed during a very cold, wet and windy week in February so could not fully appreciate the rear garden which has two seating areas on different levels which we imagine on a lovely summers evening would be delightful. The garden is fully enclosed and therefore very safe for dogs. We stayed as a couple but the cottage is so spacious it would comfortably accommodate 6 people. We would definitely recommend Hardy Cottage. Full credit to the owners, who we had the pleasure of meeting, for making us feel so welcome.

  It is the best cottage we have booked on Anglesey (and we have been to many!) and it provided a safe garden for the dogs to run around in. The facilities were excellent and the welcome pack was a nice surprise and made us feel at home straight away. By coincidence we are going back to Hardy Cottage in June 2022 (we booked that holiday first) and so we are really looking forward to seeing it again in sunshine (hopefully) and enjoying all the garden facilities it has to offer!   Short walk into gorgeous Benllech and the beach and central for exploring the island. The cottage is beautiful, spotless and all you need for a relaxing week is here. Very generous welcome pack on arrival which was much appreciated. We would definitely recommend Hardy Cottage to family and friends. Hope to be back soon.

• "Beautiful cottage newly refurbished to a very high standard ."

  Welcome package was very much appreciated and so thoughtful.Owners are close by if you need anything . Lovely enclosed Garden has comfortable lounging / dining furniture added bonus was the large gas barbecue. Area was peaceful and yet close to all amenities, the beach is just a 5 minute stroll at low tide you can walk for miles. Great base to explore Anglesey and N. Wales. Would highly recommend Hardy Cottage.

  From the minute we walked through the door we were overwhelmed by the attention to detail and how pristine the cottage was. Every possible scenario had been catered for, even a dog lead and bowl was available. Hardy Cottage is a home from home in a beautiful part of the world and we would have no hesitation in booking again.
