• "Ty Gwair (The Hayloft) is beautiful accommodation, hosts are 'simply the best."

  ' A bountiful welcome basket of local produce and the best tea ever. Views from the accommodation are spectacular in a blissful, restful setting. The location is perfect for walks and visits to Caernarfon, Llanberis and Bangor. We love our time there.

• "Ty Gwair is a beautiful, well equipped property with fantastic views over to Snowdonia."

  It is in an ideal location for touring around the North Wales coast, Anglesey and Snowdonia and there are several CADW and National Trust properties within easy reach. This was the 2nd time we have stayed at Ty Gwair and would definitely stay again.

• "Spot on. Property was great for 2 people and everything was really well thought through in design and practicality terms."

  We loved the views and open space dotted with animals. As we are approaching 70, from the wrong end, we did find the stairs rather a work out if we had to take extra journeys if we forgot something. The hosts were lovely people and the welcome tray superb. Thoroughly recommend.

• "If there is one thing I can say that could be better, is the bed mattress."

  But that is probably because I have severe back problems so, for most people it would be fine. Other than that... Lovely people, great place in very good location. Far enough to be peaceful and close enough to get to everything you need. They sell some farm products that are amazing. Regret not buying more than I did. I do recommend!

  Thank you for choosing to stay at The Hayloft, and that overall everything was great. The mattress is of a good quality, but mattresses can be difficult to select to suit all comfort needs. We will look into investing in a topper to improve comfort for the future. So pleased you found our location close enough to amenities, but far enough away to enjoy a peaceful setting. • "We had a beautiful stay at The Hayloft."

  We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and stunning views. The Hayloft was beautifully presented and had good information pack that made it easy to explore the surrounding area. The Hayloft is situated near Caernarfon town with its on own castle, lovely to explore. This was a perfect location for us as we came to North Wales to climb Snowdon and with it only being a 20 minute drive from the base it was perfect place for us to stay. We could get there conveniently and come back to relax and enjoy the sun in the lovely outside space with the views around. Thank you for our stay, and for the fresh farm eggs as that was a lovely touch❤️

• "It was our first time in North Wales and what find it was?"

  We were both bowled over by the stunning views from the windows. You could not fault it for location or anything else for that matter. The location is great proximity to other peaks, beaches and gardens. We did not get to see the castles but, there is next time now. The weather was very kind to us, so we made the best of the outdoors walking and climbing. The hosts are very warm and very helpful. It made our stay the more enjoyable. Waking up to hear the lambs and bird songs was such a joy. We would be returning with other friends to book the next door cottage. Can't wait!

  It is beautifully presented with a stunning view across to Snowdon. Kathie and her family are warm & welcoming. The welcome tray was appreciated. It’s situated in a perfect location for exploring Snowdonia, Anglesey and the beautiful coastline of North Wales. It’s only a 5 minute drive into town for all the restaurants, shops etc but where the cottage is situated it is so quiet, peaceful & beautiful. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you
