  • "Such a lovely place."

The owner was lovely and it was very easy to check in. Very peaceful and lovely location ideal to get around the island. spotlessly clean too. Was so quite at night and in the mornings that we were tempted to sleep in. We did have a problem with the shower and this was fixed immediately. The shower was nice and hot too and quite powerful. Well equipped has everything you need, even some games and jigsaws which we all had fun doing in the evenings instead of watching TV on holiday. Although the weather wasn’t amazing this summer the cabin was very warm and snug and the veranda was an added bonus for all our boots as it was under cover and lots of room for beach stuff etc. The home made bread and afternoon tea was a lovely surprise. We ate in most nights and there was a freezer and washing room too in an out house with airer which was great for drying our beach stuff. We visited Aberffraw beach and Rhosneigr (good place to park is by the Oyster Catcher). I also recommend a visit to the old copper mine/quarry on the Island – amazing and free too (Parys Mountain)

The property is glorious, quiet, peaceful, private and Carolynn ensured that everything was just as it needed to be - the cream tea was fabulous and the loaf of bread lasted me all week!! Such a lot of thought and care has gone into the property itself - the verandah catches the evening sun, the rooms are light and airy, and the wood construction gave a really natural feel around the time spent in it...I have rarely slept so well!! Absolutely wonderful - a proper treat and a real gift.
