  • "There cobwebs in sitting area."

The socket in the front double bedroom was faulty.the Garden could do with a board added between the cottage and next door as dog could jump over.Apart from that we enjoyed our stay it was a lovely place.

Thankyou for staying at my property and apologize for the issues, the cobwebs are now gone and the socket in the bedroom has been checked, a new barrier will be placed between both properties .Thank you for your kind words and I am glad you enjoyed your holiday Property Owner

  • "We only used the dishwasher once as there wasn’t enough crockery and cutlery to fill it and have some left to use."

The property would benefit from a 2nd toilet, possibly in the cupboard in the porch. Otherwise it was a comfortable stay in an easily accessible location. We were able to have a great holiday exploring the island.

Thank you for your kind words and all your comments have been addressed,I am glad that overall you had a good holiday. Property Owner

  • "Garden overgrown/neglected on arrival."

Dishwasher not repaired as confirmed at earlier query. Stuck on child lock, cannot use. Lie to say available.Spoilt hol washing up. Kitchen Tap swivels badly with use, easy fix.Landing Floorboards creak badly, disturbs sleep. Not enough cutlery, 3 forks , 4 spoons - sleeps 5! Cobwebs and gen lack of TLC., needs decorating. Comfy beds, good linens.TTowels too.

Thank you for staying at my property and I am sorry your holiday was spoilt having to wash the dishes, the engineer came to inspect the dishwasher and found no problem, pilot error maybe? The garden was overgrown at the time you visited due to the weather,it has now been cut.A new tap has now been installed,as for the creaking floorboards, there is nothing I can do about that as the carpet is fitted over. The cutlery has now been replaced.Thank you for your feedback,it does help. Property Owner

  • "Our second visit to the property."

It is a comfortable property and we enjoyed our second visit. However there were a couple of improvements needed. The kitchen tap was completely loose. The garden needs improvements with large overhanging trees needing cutting back to the boundaries and the lawn needs mowing for arrival. An extra front door key would be helpful. The property is a good convenient base and location.

Thank you for you for staying again at my property and for your feedback. The kitchen tap has now been replaced, the garden has also been cut,the weather here does not help!!! Many thanks for coming back and hope to see you again. Property Owner

  • "The house (it's not a cottage) is in a nice quiet residential area with friendly neighbours."

The house needs some updating. The freezer needed to be defrosted - we couldn't fit anything in there as it is iced over. Only about half of the windows will open, they clearly haven't been maintained so have ceased up - it just takes an effort occasionally to clean around the frames & spray with silicon to keep the mechanisms moving. We had to clean the outdoor table and chairs - it didn't look as if anyone had done that for quite some time. Beds were comfortable. The settee in the lounge has collapsed in one part so if you avoid that, it is ok. We did enjoy our stay so thank you and we hope this is useful for you.

Thank you so much for your feedback for 58 Mill Bank, we are glad you enjoyed your stay regardless of these issues. We have had a look at the issues brought up and fixed all of these. The windows specifically were scheduled for maintenance the week after and should not cause any further issues. Property Owner

Had a lovely time. Would be happy to go again. I suggest replacing the single mattress. It was noisy and bumpy which was the only reason “comfort” didn’t get the maximum mark.

  • "The place was clean and tidy!"

The house is on a small estate but it was quiet and peaceful with views over the Menai strait from the front bedrooms. The only problem we had was with the dishwasher; we went through the manual but to no avail. All in All we had a pleasant stay and the house was good value for money.

  • "We enjoyed our stay."

Everything we needed. Plenty of towels and heating very good. There are some things that need attention. I e. The toilet seat was loose and the grandchildren found it difficult as it kept moving. There was no instructions for the cooker. The hob rings took a bit of working out as all the markings were missing. The electric had tripped when we arrived so the freezer and fridge defrosted. The utensil draw was dirty underneath cutlery tray. We couldn't use the shower as it was going cold and then boiling hot.. Some of the windows wouldn't open. I am not complaining just making you aware so hopefully these will be dealt with before the next person. I did message the owner and got no response. We would stay there again. It was on an estate but very quiet and the neighbour was very friendly

Thank you for using my property and glad you had a good holiday. The toilet seat has now been replaced, the cutlery drawer has been cleaned, the shower has been replaced, the windows have now been serviced by a local company and all are working fine.Thank you for your feedback,it does help and hope to see you again Property Owner

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 58 Mill Bank."

The property was close to the small town of Menai which has some lovely places to eat or take away and Bangor, just over the Menai Bridge, has all the shops and supermarkets you want. You only have to drive through some beautiful countryside and there are many great places to visit ; the Hidden Gardens are magnificent and are literally on the door step. Recommend: Bangor Pier, the Car Museum, Conwy, Llundudno, the village with longest name in world and it’s fantastic huge shop and the list goes on and on. 58 Mill Bank is clean, comfortable, has all the amenities you need and has a great location; highly recommended.

  • "There were lots of things with this cottage that made our stay 'uncomfortable'."

. The furniture was aged and uncomfortable, and clearly animals had scared the conservatory furniture which was unsuitable for the conservatory as it was leather. There was no hoover or mop bucket. The dishwasher was impossible to use as there was no 'idiots guide' and the 30 page manual was not easy to follow. The kitchen lacked utensils for example no food mixer or weigh scales, nearly all the cupboards were unused ,,as just basics were available The cooker and oven were past there sell by date although they were usable. There was sky for WiFi but no actual sky programs/movies or Sky Sports, a big disappointment. The bathroom was in need of TLC and basically needed replacing if it is to be a permanent cottage to let, the shower was poor. Only could find 2 bath towels and there was 3 of us.!! The beds were ok The house (not a cottage) was cold believe it or not and felt damp,, the heating control I unable to use. The shop was close by (a corner shop) and open every day & til 7,, however the local pub was never open whilst we were there. The beach was supposedly a ten minute walk,, a ten minute drive is more correct and it was a Stoney rocky beach in Beaumaris. Ultimately we could not walk anywhere (as we are not walkers) so visiting any attraction was a drive away. We left on Thursday as we were 'fed up@ and decided leaving was the best for us.

We were able to get shopping delivered and found some local takeaways which also delivered to the house, there is a local shop 2 minutes walk away which was always open and had a hat ever we needed. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit Anglesey.
