  • "Lovely property."

En-suite bathroom and cloakroom WC need a deep clean (we are towards end of season though). Shower heads were really grungy and toilet seat hinges were not nice as were toilet brushes. Extractor fans In en suite didn’t work. Bedding and towels were all really clean. Kitchen didn’t need anything that wasn’t provided and extremely functional. Owners property file was first class! Garden very sheltered and absolute sun trap with lovely furniture . We could have done with a heads up regarding low flying aircraft (raf valley) very noisy but that was the same all over the area and the train track at the bottom of the garden. Overall a fantastic property just needed a more thorough cleaning but didn’t spoil our holiday but don’t think it reflected the price

  • "Second time staying here, nice house, very comfortable bed, very Uncomfortable sofa, not big enough for 4 people but it sleeps 6?"

? And too low. Will look at another rental next visit to Rhosneiger

Thanks for your feedback, the sofa is only a year old and we find it very comfortable. We have maximised the available space in the living area whilst also providing a very comfortable sofa in the snug for cosy nights in. Property Owner

  • "Lovely stay… loved the location and the house, it was a real home from home… I took everything with me bar the kitchen sink but I had no need as literally everything you need is there for you to use."

My only piece of feedback would be check in and out times could be a little more flexible … 3pm is a little late, I think more 1-2 would be better and 10am to check out a tad too soon We will definitely return !!

Hi there, thanks for the lovely feedback Michelle. The check in and out times are standard holiday rental times set by Sykes not myself. I am always very happy to be flexible with times if you contact me prior to arrival. We look forward to welcoming you back soon. Property Owner

  • "We really enjoyed our short stay."

Facilities and location were great. Unlocking the front door was problematic. I eventually gained entry after lots of jiggling the key but then could not remove it. Very frustrating.

Hi Anthony thanks for the feedback, the key lock has now been rectified, many thanks for letting us know Property Owner

  • "We had a great time at Dune Retreat, a wonderful location to explore Anglesey from."

The house was beautifully presented and came with all that we needed. The living room space was fine for us a just a couple, but I could imagine it being a 'bit cozy' if the house was fully occupied.

Thank you for the lovely feedback we love our cosy house. We love the fact there’s a snug for extra room and it provides the kids with their own space. We would love to welcome you back to Dune Retreat anytime. Property Owner

  • "We have a really lovely comfortable stay, house was in a great location, back garden was lovely and secure."

Perfect viewing spot for the RAF planes. Only small critique is that we weren’t provided anything to wash pots and no bin liners. But would definitely be back and we had a great stay.

Thanks for the lovely feedback Holly, so sorry there were no bin liners or cloths, this is usually something that the cleaners leave at every changeover, I will make sure this is rectified, we look forward to welcoming you back soon. Property Owner

  • "Walking into Dunes Retreat felt cosy, home from home."

Very clean & tidy with an enclosed garden for the vip, the pooch. The information folder was very useful & handy if needed how to use any equipment or local eateries. We’ve had a great holiday at Dunes Retreat and this property was situated in a quiet, clean cul de sac off a main road & in walking distance to a spar & just minutes away in a car to gorgeous beaches which our dog throughly enjoyed. We would definitely return to this property & Rhosneigr.

Thank you so much for the lovely feedback, glad you enjoyed the house and your holiday on Anglesey, we would welcome your return anytime. Property Owner

  • "We had a great holiday at Dune Retreat."

Like the tardis Dune Retreat had ample room for the three adults and two children. Very clean on arrival with plenty of crockery etc.so the dish water only needed to go on in the morning when we left. The snug was great for the children to get away from the adults, with lots of games for the whole family. Rhosneigr is a short distance away, walkable, with great beaches and sand dunes to explore. The host Vicky was very helpful and the information pack was comprehensive. Thoroughly recommend.

Thank you so much for the lovely feedback, glad you enjoyed the snug, such a cosy space, we hope to welcome you back soon! Property Owner

  • "Great place to stay we loved it and would book there again, we had a Spa shop just walking distance away very handy."

There is a short walk too Rhosneigr to restaurants, shops, beach. A short drive up the road to get to other beaches such as Cable Bay. Lovely walks along the beach to Rhosneigr from there. The house itself has everything you would need, we could not fault it. We will visit again and hopefully soon.

Thank you so much for the lovely feedback. Glad you had a great time enjoying Rhosneigr and the local beaches. We will welcome you back anytime. Property Owner
