  • "Warm welcome from the host when we arrived at 3pm."

Ideal base for family with dog for exploring North Wales. Cafe next door and bar just up the road. Kitchen facilities great, dishwasher, seperate freezer and plenty of utensils. Beds comfy. Would have liked curtains in the main bedroom rather than just blinds to stop the daylight waking us up early.

  • "Fabulous location on the Menai Straits, convenient for dog walks."

The town had some great outdoor spaces for children and easy access to other towns in locality. Cottage very comfortable. Some great pubs on footstep for walking too and eating out in the evening. Swellies cafe next door to property ,did great breakfasts. Children enjoyed crabbing by the harbour walls.

  • "A lovely property with views of the boats moored outside."

The property is spacious and in excellent condition. It feels like a home, nicely decorated with a well stocked kitchen. We've stayed at the property twice and hope to stay again!

Thank you for your kind feedback. We have had some negative comments lately and I want to apologise to my customers for this. The cafe next door is now making more of an effort to keep the area tidy. The issue with the weed was a one off and the smell has now gone. As you can see on the whole the feedback for this cottage is very good. Property Owner

  • "Just a few points."

The upstairs smelt of weed.... The freezer didn't work, and we had soggy veg etc. The meat was ok, we just used it up that night and had the follow day but the rest was ruined. It would have been helpful to have had the 'heads up' beforehand. The heating didn't work! I know you don't normally use this time of year but Sunday was very cold and wet. The boiler should have been serviced in April but no current paperwork to show this. Parking was an issue as the cafe next door store their bins, rubbish, wheelie lifters for carrying goods etc. You had to park very tight one side to get in the space. The towel ring holder was on the floor broken when we got there, we tried to mend it... it did still come of on times. Also someone had put a broken bowl in the cupboard so we threw it out. A box was also left downstairs in the kitchen when we had arrived so we left it there. We did dry and put away the dished left on the draining board.

All a matter of opinion but found the main bed uncomfortable and the couches have definately seen better days. House overall very clean and everything for our stay was provided and welcoming, great locaton. We had a good stay but unlikely to return. Would question the 4.9 rating. Some updating could earn another rating "tick"

Facilities all good, for longer stays it may benefit from having a washing machine particularly for people visiting with children. Cafe next door ideal if you don’t want to cook yourself.Local pub a short walk away that offers good food and will allow dogs in. On the whole a good property with parking would easily stay again.

We could not have been happier with the cottage or how dog friendly it was for our 2 dogs, although we had brought as always dog bedding/bowls /towels etc, it was lovely to see that these also were provided although not needed. We all felt like it was a home from home and were sad to leave. We couldn’t have asked for more, A beautiful cottage, that was well equipped and in a fabulous setting! Would definitely recommend and Will def be returning next year.

We booked very last minute, but the process was very easy, the app gave us all the info we required. The cottage was as described, very clean, everything you needed was in the cottage, lovely location right on the harbour. There’s a cafe next door that we used. There’s a great Tapas restaurant across the road, we went twice. There’s a local shop and pub within walking distance. We took our dog, and he loved the local walks. Only negative was early in the morning the noise from outside, deliveries to the cafe next door, bins being emptied or the peacock across the harbour that woke us up every morning (none of this could be controlled by the cottage owner) But it didn’t stop our enjoyment!
