    Stunning views across to Arran and aling the beaches. Only one minor issue as we were down for a wedding it would of been good to have a full length mirror .

  • "Lovely setting and view."

    The apartment is well furnished, we would have liked some coasters to put on surfaces. Didn’t like the glass mugs we went out and bought real ones. We came with a baby and an assistance dog. Self catering, the kitchen equipment and utensils are not sufficient for cooking meals from scratch. No tin opener! No bowls and jugs, no roasting tin. Not sure if the owners know that the bathroom mirror often bursts into very loud music or speech? Quite disturbing especially when we had just managed to get the baby asleep. We think it may be Bluetooth of some kind, we could not find a way to stop it. Also heating controls are locked with a pin. One evening we were quite chilly, thank goodness we had good weather mostly. We did love the setting and the views. Ideal for those who want microwave meals or take aways. The neighbours we met are all lovely.

  • "Excellent place to stay."

    Very clean throughout. Great tv, including tv in bedroom beds comfy, plenty of storage room for clothes etc. Fully kitted out kitchen including washer/dryer. Lovely bathroom and excellent shower. Quiet area too. Gladly recommend this place if looking to stay in Ardrossan.

  • "Lovely refurbished place, the description was accurate and we thought the location was good for ourselves."

    A few minor things, none of which affected our holiday in any significant way, but the owner may want to have knowledge of; The internal doors opening on to the carpet require the bottom of these doors adjusting as it was a struggle to push to open and close. As we had dogs with us, we needed to keep door shut, so restricting the area for our dogs to the hard floor areas. We received a call about the heating, we checked it out and it was very hot, although the thermostat registered 15* degrees, we lowered it to 13 degrees and turned the individual radiator thermostats to their lowest, this made a difference. However, the radiator in the landing, which was invaded and had no access does not have an individual thermostat and if it did, it wouldn’t have made any difference as we couldn’t reach it. This raditator continued to produce some heat. The walled controller having been lowered to maximum of 13 degrees did however help. A few more kitchen funerals would help if we had not been eating out all the time would be necessary for a long stay. The amount of stairs were not a problem for us, but the depth of tread which makes them steep was a problem for an older visitor who came to see us. We couldn’t get the STV app to work on the main TV, we didn’t use the others. Please don’t think this is a complete criticism as your place suited us and we were happy to have used the place.   • "Absolutely beautiful property in a beautiful location!"

    The view from the front windows is incredible, and I honestly think we spent most of the time when in the property just staring out. The property had everything you could need and was very clean and tidy. We would definitely book again! Thank you.

  • "Overall our stay at the property was good and would recommend for fit people."

    It is not the best fit for people with walking disabilities as the incline to the property is very steep and the stairs to the home are much the same. Once inside, the home is very nice / clean and has fantastic views. I would recommend PS.....One recommendation would be is to have a blind in the bathroom.

    Very well situated and handy for so much of Ayrshire . Only change would be to have dustpan and brush to help manage sand that came back from the beach with us but otherwise great property and owner very very helpful.
