"Lovely property in really great location."
Very well equipped. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it, particularly if you’re a dog owner, but be aware the cottage doesn’t have many large windows and hence it has limited natural light and views. Might also benefit from a Bluetooth speaker, although probably not high on other people’s list of priorities with both Sky and Freeview on offer.

"We had a wonderful stay at the cottage."
It’s beautifully presented and everything has been thought of to make your stay go well. We loved the cosy living room and the beds were super comfortable. The kitchen is very well set up too. Claire the housekeeper was brilliant at communication whenever we had any questions.
The area is beautiful and it’s lovely and quiet. We hope to return at some point in the future. Would highly recommend

"Compton cottage was beautiful and was perfect for our short holiday with our dog."
It had eveything we needed and great walks nearby. Only element that could be improved is the cleanliness of the bed spreads, as there were yellow stains on them.

"Beautifully appointed cottage."
Every detail has been thought about very carefully, and the comfort level is extremely high. Very clean, and furnished and equipped to an extremely high level.
We very much appreciated the thoughtful provisions and very yummy fresh eggs! The walled front garden was very safe and perfect for our little dog to explore and run around. Great, friendly communication with Claire who manages the cottage. We loved it so much that we have booked to stay a few days next month! Very highly recommended.

"We all had a fantastic time."
Amazing Cottage with beautiful views. Added bonus that our Dog Moose was able to roam around the garden and we knew he was safe. The cream on the cake was Claire the Lady who looked after us nothing was a problem and always had a big smile on her face

"We had a fantastic week at The Compton Cottage."
The cottage was everything we hoped for and more. The views and location were perfect and so very peaceful with lovely walks on the doorstep for our Labrador Willow. Jane, the owner was lovely and we enjoyed the rhubarb and vegetables from the garden. We would not hesitate to recommend The Compton Cottage and no doubt, will go back again one day.

"This cottage is absolutely beautiful when we arrived we noticed the cleanliness was 5 star it was so clean and every room furnished to such a high standard from the beautiful linen in bedrooms to the towels in bathroom ."
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need and relaxing in the living area with sky tv and comfortable and cosy sofas. The small garden which is secure was great for our dog poppy who used to sit outside and we knew she was safe. The grounds of the cottage are breathtaking , relaxing a complete switch off . The owners are lovely very welcoming and Claire the housekeeper is lovely cannot do enough for us sorting any issues we had immediately with no inconvenience to us . Highly recommend this property we will be back .

"A stunning country location and property."
A beautiful cottage, part of a Manor house setting within one of the most picturesque (and quiet) valleys in the Cotswolds. The owners of Compton Cottage have not spared anything on the furnishings of this property. We have rarely seen such great levels of comfort, with style. The beds and linen were very high quality, the kitchen properly stocked (with sharp knives - thank you), the whole cottage was very clean, the 'welcome gifts' were a lovely touch.
We are so pleased that you enjoyed everything about Compton Cottage. We hope we can welcome you back again in the future.

"What a beautiful cottage!"
! Stylish, comfortable and well equipped and set in glorious surroundings. So close to Cheltenham and Cirencester, a fabulous base for exploring the Cotswolds. Communication from the manager of the property was really excellent and she was very accommodating. Would 100% recommend a stay here.

"A lovely peaceful location away from busy life."
Yet a stones throw from lovely pubs and restaurants. The interior decor was lovely and the enclosed garden is great for the dog. Very well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

"This was a last minute booking & we were thrilled that we found the cottage."
The comunication was superb & the host was there to welcome our party of three adults a baby & a dog. The property is in a beautiful peaceful countryside location & is exquisitely decorated & furnished. It is a very comfortable home which is extremely well equipped with luxurious touches & worked well for our whole party. We would highly recommend this property & will return soon.
