  • "A very comfortable and clean property with an extremely well equipped kitchen."

Ideal property to relax and 'get away from it all' due to its location. The only thing missing was a hot tub! Sadly the weather was against us during our stay which resulted in huge puddles at the front of the property but they soon subsided. Good eating establishments near by. We really enjoyed our stay after attending a wedding in the area and would like to return to explore some of the walks when the weather is better.

  • "We visited this property this Spring as a family, on arrival we found the property's alarm to be sounding so had to call the owner only to receive a poor response."

On resolving this we were greeted by the owners used shoes scattered all in the entrance porch and dust in numerous places around the property. The building itself is of a good size and the kitchen very well equipped. No welcome pack and the garden un-kept so we didn't use it much. Overall, the property was satisfactory but lacked attention to detail, homely touches and communication.

The house has all the comforts of home which allowed for preparing proper meals. Would definitely consider this property next time we're in the UK.

  • "Property very comfortable ."

Wasp nest found in outside patio cushion box on first day , wasps killed day 3 , unable to use cushions for rest of week (despite contacting owner ) because nest still there and the cushions needed cleaning . Some of owners shoes left utility room . Two of drawers in freezer had owners items in. Grass needed cutting and there were tall weeds on patio and round side door .What could have been a stunning property was let down by small ,easily remedied , issues .

  • "Absolutely lovely property, very clean, well kitted out."

Nice location. Only thing that might have helped would be if we could have raised the heating a little bit, it was cold, particularly at night. Otherwise lovely holiday, thank you

  • "Simply, this is a beautiful property."

Finished to a very high standard. With a spectacular view outside in a quiet a peaceful area. The surroundings really are quite lovely. The bedrooms, beds, linens and towels are all excellent quality. The carpeting in the hallways and bedrooms was lush. Everything (almost) is comfortable and the hosts should be commended for presenting such a genuinely great building to stay in. Bathrooms (3 toilets not the advertised 2) and showers were really great. Well lit and furnished. Water pressure was high and enjoyable. The WiFi worked great throughout. The heating was top notch. The television while a little on the small size for the living room was a smart TV so streaming services were available. The kitchen was very well equipped, enough to make any sort of meal for even a large group as there are settings for many. Though could use a whisk and some larger drinking glasses. Cooking in it was a pleasure. An instant boil tap means no kettle in sight, it was a great addition. We did have some gripes however, but will point out that this could just be personal preferences but felt necessary to mention... The property is right next to another building. Like almost attached. The pictures do a good job of not showing that. You share a driveway and a car port. We did see the inhabitants several times and they did seem to be peeking once or twice. The building is surrounded by active security cameras, which is great for security but can also give you a slightly uneasy feeling that you're being checked in on by the owners. Inside there are quite a lot of signs and labels telling you not to do something. Every bedroom has a big door to the outside. These all have labels on saying not to open unless it's an emergency. 2 of the rooms have no windows other than this big glass door so it seems a bit restricting. Also one in the living room has that same label. Ugly sheets ruin the look of the kitchen detailing rules to follow and procedures for waste disposal. These things combined to take down the comfort level. Made it seem like you were being watched. Also the giant, very comfy sofa is a recliner. But the controls have been taped up and the power cables removed thus removing that function which is an odd choice. Could also use some pillows.

To clear some of the point raised, their are 2 bathrooms and also a separate (clockroom) toilet. The signs on doors and in the property are required by the fire inspector. Also many of the doors have been left unlocked after previous guests. All rooms have opening windows of varying sizes. Unfortunately the recliners are not available due to previous guest damage. The neighbours are next door not attached and both houses have different aspects to look out on. Gates and a fence have been erected by the side of the house. Property Owner

  • "Lovely quiet location, but close to amenities & links to train stations as travelled into London for a day."

Would have liked to have had been left dishwasher tablets as starter as there was only one, and there was no hairdryer. We will definitely book this accommodation again.

  • "Property was great there are a few minor things that could be improved."

Living room TV. Not sure what is up with it, but we found it ridiculously hard to work, and could not get Netflix to work on it. Have more than one chopping board, was difficult to prep food with only one. Leave more recycle bags, dishwasher tabs etc. Was frustrating that we had to buy a whole box of dishwasher tabs as only 3 were left for our use and we needed a bag a day for food waste, given our young children's eating habits.

  • "A very well furnished comfortable home in a quiet location."

A modern kitchen is very well equipped. The bathrooms are excellent with modern shower and towels provided. The beds are very comfortable and with the quiet location a good nights sleep is guaranteed. The TVs are modern flat screen. We had a very enjoyable stay and highly recommended this holiday home.
