  • "Tiles to kitchen floor cracked, loose and extremely slippery to dogs, not suitable."

Conservatory tiles much better. Bedrooms small for doubles. Shower head not secure Front door lock difficult to lock and unlock. Conservatory door difficult to open. Cobwebs to conservatory ceiling Door nobs to wardrobes loose. Trickle vent to main bedroom window was broken when we arrived. Lots of leaves to garden that kept getting brought in to house. Some lights to garden did not work. Main bin outside full to top. 4pm late arrival not suitable, 2pm at latest would have been much more acceptable. Bed very comfortable. Tea, coffee and milk a nice touch as property is remote. Property overall is nice and peaceful but slippery flooring to kitchen prompted us to cut short our stay as one of the dogs could not cope.

Otherwise, we very much enjoyed the spacious kitchen, living room, conservatory and garden. Bedrooms and bathroom are adequate, if a little small.

The bathroom is rather small and for us, being of advanced years, it presented some challenges, but overall this was a most enjoyable, homely and relaxing stay. Lovely to have a large screen TV rather than the tiny ones found in too many holiday cottages.

The cottage is lovely and lived up to all the great reviews. The village of Priors Marston is really pretty and well worth a thorough exploration. Not a yellow line in sight! Easy visits to Canons Ashby, Charlecote park and Daventry Country Park for some great dog walks. An extremely enjoyable week, highly recommended.

We would definitely stay again. Conservatory was a bit chilly due to a few gaps in the door, and a tray would be useful but not a massive problem. A shelf under the bathroom mirror would make the place perfect. A great place to stay

Or my home if I downsize. Clean & comfortable, cared for & easy to live in. Spacious fully equipped kitchen with a good size freezer compartment, large fridge, dishwasher & washing machine. Sitting room was cosy, comfortable & nicely decorated with a dining room overlooking the sheep. The dog was fascinated by the baa’ing. Two nice bedrooms, thank you for a King size bed. Local pub was very friendly, good beers & a fuss was made of our dog, which she endured for a biscuit :) Quiet location but with easy links to Braunston.

Very dog friendly with an enclosed garden that was very safe and a place to wake up and watch the wildlife, we did see Deer and foxes each day. The cottage is beautiful very comfortable with high quality furnishings that were very new. The open fire was lovely especially during November but the cottage also had a great heating system too. A real home from home is very true. Many lovely walks on your doorstep or a very short drive away such as Daventry country park and Badby woods and the Holly bush inn pub very close walking distance. We also found a local farm shop in Eydon called Dodds manor farm where we bought local steaks and cooked them back at the cottage, delicious! Lucy the owner checked all was good as we arrived and was there if we needed anything but we didn’t had she had also kindly left milk and biscuits for the tea and coffee provided. Amazing cottage and we will definitely be back

  • "We enjoyed our stay in this quiet, well maintained cottage."

The beds were very comfortable and the cottage was equipped with all the necessary facilities and furniture. I appreciated having good-sized cups for coffee and tea, not the small, shallow cups usually provided! The owner was friendly and welcoming; she kindly lent me a dog lead as I had forgotten to bring one. The dog and I enjoyed our walks through the village and around the area. Unfortunately, she was frightened of the sheep, so we couldn't use the footpath behind the cottage. I would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for somewhere to relax in a quiet location, with plenty to do and see nearby.

Beautifully decorated, spacious, nice garden and comfy beds and furniture. The property

Nestled amongst the rolling countryside of Warwickshire, in the charming market town of Priors Marston, rests this homely bungalow, 5 Grange Cottages.

Set across one level and sleeping up to four guests, 5 Grange Cottages makes an idyllic base for a small family or two couples looking to experience the delights of this picturesque area.

Park up on your private driveway before unloading your bags and taking in the stunning green scenery surrounding your new home-from-home; a truly lovely spot to escape reality and enjoy a staycation with your loved ones.

Stepping inside, kick off your shoes as you enter into the hallway and follow the corridor through to the snug sitting room, where you can look forward to flicking on the Smart TV and relaxing with a steaming cup of coffee, gently warming your toes with the glow of the open fire in the cooler months.

When stomachs start to rumble, move through your lovely abode to discover the well-equipped kitchen, home to a fabulous range of conveniences to entice any budding chef to rustle up some delectable dishes to be enjoyed in the bright and airy conservatory-come-dining room.

In the warmer weather, take your dining experience outdoors with a leisurely seat on your private patio, where you can soak in the last of the evening sun with a crisp glass of wine in hand, backed by the peaceful setting of the surrounding countryside.

As the day draws to a close, retreat indoors to find two well-presented bedrooms, a king-size and a double, each serviced by the family bathroom, where guests can choose between a blissful soak of an evening or make use of the overhead shower to relish a quick rinse in the morning.

Take a break from doing the cooking and take the short walk to the nearby pub, The Hollybush Inn, where you can treat your loved ones to a great selection of ales, or if you'd prefer to put your feet up, head to the New Water Margin to pick up a delicious Chinese takeaway to enjoy from the comfort of your holiday home.

For a wider variety of choice, the delightful pubs of The Red Lion at Hellidon and The Butchers Arms in Priors Hardwick rest slightly further afield, promising to serve something to suit all tastes and budgets.

There's plenty to see and do nearby to keep entertained during your staycation, including leisurely strolls along the Millennium Way and the Oxford Canal Walk, whilst the Honesberie Shooting School offers a unique experience for a spot of clay pigeon shooting.

If you time it right, head to the historic market town of Southam to peruse the stalls of the regular farmer's market, perfect for stocking up on fresh, locally sourced produce to rustle up during your stay, whilst the towns supermarket offers all of the essentials.

Get your steps in with a wander alongside the waters of Draycote Water reservoir, where you can catch glimpse of an array of bird life, embark on a two-wheeled adventure along the cycling trails, or cast your line and try your hand at fishing.

A trip to Warwickshire would not be complete without a visit to Stratford-upon-Avon, renowned as the home of famed playwright, William Shakespeare, here you can catch a performance at The Royal Shakespeare Theatre, tour the charming wattle-and-daub family home of Shakespeare's wife at Anne Hathaway's Cottage, or get dressed to the nines and enjoy a day at the races.

Whisk your loved ones away on a memorable retreat with a stay at 5 Grange Cottages.
