• "Bumble cottage is very well equipped, comfortable and tastefully furnished."

  The village is quiet and in peaceful countryside and was ideal for an October break. It is probably the best cottage we have stayed in. In high summer the lack of garden space could be a disadvantage but there is a small paved sitting out area behind the cottage. Several National Trust properties are in easy reach and the Cotswolds close by.

• "We had a lovely, relaxing break at Bumble Cottage."

  It's a beautiful place to stay and is so well equipped. The parking and access was very easy, especially after a long drive. Got a welcoming feeling each day we returned from our days out. Would definitely return.

• "Wonderful cottage with everything you need."

  The weather was hot when we stayed but the owners had provided a fan which was most welcome. Can imagine this would be a very cosy cottage in the autumn and winter months. Every room is spacious, clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. Would definitely return as so much to see and do in the area. There was a slight problem but the owner dealt with it quickly and efficiently.

• "A comfortable & cosy cottage on the edge of the Cotswold with a small grocery & post office just a few doors away."

  The kitchen was well equipped & the tea, coffee, milk & lemon cake left for us on arrival were much appreciated. Everything was as advertised, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again.

• "I lived in tysoe a long time ago went to school there ."

  It was amazing to come back and enjoy the village. A very big place on my heart. Also a great place to enjoy the cotswolds. Will be back soon

• "Fabulous cottage with everything that we needed for a wonderful holiday, set in a lovely village with such friendly people who greeted us from the start, especially in the local pub and shop, great parking space at the back, we also enjoyed all the things left for us ( chocs ,water ,milk, tea, coffee and cake) , we even had a xmas tree put up for our Christmas holiday ,we will definitely return."

• "What a beautiful cottage."

  Everything you need is there. The village is lovely with a great local store, a lovely pub where you can get a very good chinese meal (or take-away). Berts Barn on a Friday for burgers is a MUST! Its an ideal base for visiting lots of lovely Cotswold villages and towns and I cannot recommend it highly enough. We will certainly be back. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

• "Very nice cottage, well maintained and perfect size for a couple wanting a break."

  Cottage itself was very comfortable, clean and well equipped, with its own car parking spot at rear of property and easy to access. Is next on Main Street of the village, so plenty of activity outside, but not overly intrusive. Very nice area, lovely village and very good position for exploring. Definitely recommend

• "Hi. Just to say we enjoyed our stay at your cottage."

  Happy with its condition, decoration and facilities. Ideally situated for many local walks along the various named paths to use. Neighbours and locals are very friendly and always good for a chat. The Peacock pub, and on-site Chinese kitchen, are a hub for the locals and they are a good crowd. Thanks again. David & Sue.

• "Lovely cottage."

  Would highly recommend. I did email owner at the end of our stay to advise of a couple of problems in the bathroom, with sink drain and toilet leaking water into base. But no one bothered to respond! I especially hope the toilet leak has been dealt with in the current drought situation.

• "Very nice and cosey cottage."

  The carefully chosen decoration of the cottage feld very homely. Also the attentions and the personal touch was great. The only thing that was inconvenient was the location. A cottage at the mainstreet meant a lot of traffic. And with the supermarket at 25 meter also a lot of people passing by.
