  • "A nice cottage and garden with a lovely view at the back of the garden."

Everything was clean and well presented. In a good position for days out in the area. Just one small thing - the lock on the bathroom door doesn't work so needs seeing to.

It has all the required facilities and is very comfortable. The quiet area is very relaxing with a lovely garden and views over the fields. The location offers easy access to a number of activities- we were specifically in the area for a karting championship but managed to do much more- with lots of variety. We would definitely recommend this property

  • "We enjoyed our stay at Kite Cottage, set in a beautiful location, nice and quiet and just what we were after."

The cottage itself was lovely nice and airy and bright, the welcome basket, milk and information provided was a lovely gesture. The only points that could use a little attention are there was metal shavings and a screw near the patio door inside, looks like a new door but hadn't been cleaned properly. Also there was no pizza cutter that we could find. As mentioned before the seating in living room was a little uncomfortable but bearable. This doesn't take away from the cottage we would definatly return. Thank you for a lovely stay :)

Thank you for the thoughtful welcome pack. We did struggle to close and lock the patio door on occasion, maybe that was the heat! Apart from that, the house had everything you could wish for.

  • "We had a lovely stay at Kite Cottage in June 24'."

The property is in a perfect spot, a quiet rural location with stunning views from the rear/ garden of the properties. The property is exactly as the listing describes, and is well kept, maintained and managed. Owners leave lots of details and information and are at hand if required during your stay. The village has a shop and a pub in strolling distance with additional shops/ facilities in the local Brackley. And Silverstone is a short 5-10 minute drive away, but you'd never know! So close but the property is as serene and rural as you'd hope. I also enjoyed some lovely walk/ running routes from the property along the local paths and Bridleways. Thanks for a lovely stay Chris and Jane!

It was very quiet and lovely view from the amazing back garden, which was secure for the dog. We couldn't fault it and would certainly stay again if up in the area. Chris and Jane were very quick to reply to a query I had, and the property is a credit to then. Excellent all round thank you

We have family in the area and it is a twofold joy to visit - one to see grandchildren and two to relax in the peace and quiet of Kite. The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing base to return to of an evening whether you are actively or leisurely enjoying your days. Every comfort and amenity and then some including a welcome pack is provided and having stayed in many cottages over the years, I can't think of a more pleasant one. Thanks and hope to visit again soon :-)

Central to all our intended destinations. Close to major road routes, yet in a very quiet location in an attractive village with a shop and post office. Ample off road parking. Cosy and clean. We slept very soundly. Nice garden with furniture available and with a rural view overlooking farm land. Well equipped kitchen with an under-counter freezer which meant one could shop once at start of holiday. Good Internet service. It might be a tight fit for 4 adults but perfect for the two of us. Generous welcome pack. Thank you for offering such a great place to stay.

A very clean, well equipped and comfortable cottage to base ourselves for visiting family and friends in the area. Difference makers are that the cottage is not allowed to get tired as there is always updating taking place and the enclosed garden is very dog friendly The welcome basket is always a joy and well utilised. Having already booked our next visit we can heartily recommend Kite to all.

Very clean. Creaky stairs and landing so it was difficult to be quiet at night. Main bed too firm for me but hubby didn't mind it. Small bathroom but functional. Bedding/towels clean and fresh. Kitchen well equipped but I couldn't find a garlic press or measuring jug. Welcome pack was lovely, thank you. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

The host was very attentive to the fact we have children and made sure to put toys in the house for them and anything else we might of needed. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is that I think that the cleaner forgot to vacuum downstairs as there was quite a bit of dog hair when we vacuumed a few days into the stay. Our baby had been down on the floor so that wasn’t ideal. Other than that absolutely fantastic property to holiday in. We would absolutely book again.

As in previous visits we found a wonderfully clean, warm, comfortable and well equipped cottage. Syresham is a charming and welcoming small village where we base ourselves for visits to family and friends in Milton Keynes and Northampton. Great days out in wonderful blue skies were finished off beautifully in the relaxing feeling of Kite of an evening - with a malt whisky and some cheese. Enjoyed visits to Woburn Safari Park and Stowe Gardens, ending our final night with a first class meal in the local Kings Head pub & restaurant - certainly worth a visit. Thanks again and looking forward to next time.

The lounge settee not quite so as it is too soft and you sink into it, also dining chair backs are angled forward resulting in an uncomfy seating position. The view at the rear of the property is fantastic as it looks over arable farmland and wooded hills, very tranquil and peaceful. The enclosed rear garden is a nice size with the above views and perfect if you have a dog. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Everything we needed was supplied including toilet rolls and soap. There was also an amazing welcome basket of wine, tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits, with milk in the fridge. Information provided re the cottage and about local area, pubs etc. Nice garden - we watered the plants but didn't mow the lawn which was quite long in places - not ideal when clearing up after the dog. Lovely outlook from the garden. We bought bottled water as found the tap water a bit hard - was always a residue of scale in the bottom of washing up water and mugs stained easily. We bought our own mugs for that reason. Overall though was a really lovely cottage.
