  • "It was everything and so much more."

Craving some country charm, this cottage offered us the luxury of comfort and peace and quiet for the ultimate relaxation. Even the attention to the smaller details (loaf of bread) was an unexpected extra, that was made the experience even more special. Sorry, we didn't have any of the bread, as we brought our own. Hope it didn't go to waste?!" Overall, it was an amazing stay and hope to be back again.

  • "A cozy, comfortable, well appointed property in glorious, peaceful rural surroundings."

Enjoyed seeing deer and hares in adjacent field and hearing owls after dark. Great walks in the countryside from the property and lots of places to visit nearby. Good facilities for the size of the property including a very comfortable bed. Appreciated the essentials such as bread, butter and milk provided on arrival.

  • "I spent an enjoyable week staying at Blue Bell."

The apartment is very clean and comfortable with the facilities as stated. The bed is the most comfortable I’ve experienced in a holiday let. The property is well placed for visiting places of interest within a few minutes drive. However it is along a narrow lane with few passing places. Each time I drove along the lane it was “Phew!” If I hadn’t met anyone along the way. All in all I had a fabulous week.

The property is immaculate and clean. Essentials were provided for your arrival (bread, butter, milk etc) and the host went the extra mile as it was my husbands 50th. So grateful to have found this place and we will definitely be coming back x

A perfect stay! The place is a bubble of calm and comfort. The wood-burning stove was already ready for a fire, and despite the bad weather, I wasn't cold at all. Everything is close by, so you don't need a car (shops nearby, buses...). A real pleasure!

  • "It was a beautiful setting in a idyllic location."

Convenient for exploring Wiltshire and there was a good bus service to Bath. The property was small but very comfortable. When we arrived the manager had provided essentials which was a lovely gesture. There was a vase of hand-picked wild flowers too. The only fly in the ointment was the internet connection which didn’t work the whole time we were there. This was inconvenient as we had to buy an additional data package. The manager tried her utmost to resolve this and I appreciate all she tried to do but it was annoying at the time.
