"We had a wonderful short stay here."
A picturesque setting, with great history, the cottage ticks all the boxes for heritage. Warm, low ceilings, beams, wooden floors.
The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the garden birds, and pheasants sitting on the fence, sheep in the field next door, and walking up the hill climb to imagine the classic cars.
We drove to the Lion Inn, a wonderful dog friendly pub in Clifton on Teme, with great beer, food and staff. Too far for an elderly dog to walk to, but very friendly when there.
Beautifully appointed bedrooms, clean. We read the mixed feedback about the bathroom before we arrived. Our experience? A deep bath, hand held shower that worked perfectly. A bit of traditional luxury, in keeping with the setting. Embrace the experience.

"A stunning property."
Quiet, tranquil, perfect.
I'm 6ft and my son is 6ft 6inch so we had to duck with the low slung ceilings but we got used to that.
With the hill climb track next to us & the vintage cars on display its perfect if your a petrol head

"This was a lovely old cottage in a very peaceful location."
The cottage was nicely furnished and had a modern feel to it despite it's age. It was a good place to retreat to at the end of the day. During our stay the Shelsley Hill Climb had a race weekend and although this did mean that lots of people were on site it wasn't any where near as loud as were thought it might be. The directions to the cottage were easy to follow and there appeared to be lots of places to visit locally.

"A very pleasant timber framed cottage, centuries old."
Low ground floor ceilings but the 3 of us are under 5ft 6" anyway! Very peaceful for a Christmas stay, as ours was. It is situated on a very historic motorsport site dating back to 1905, even pre-dating Brooklands. We walked the hill climb on Christmas Eve, it was pretty steep on foot! It would be noisy on a hill climb day, though my interests are mainly in historic MGs and Morgan three wheelers, since I have one of each, a 1934 MG and a 1933 Morgan. The cottage is simply furnished, but well equipped. Sloping floors upstairs and some trip hazards, but provided one is wary, not a problem. I very much like old timber framed buildings finding them very fascinating, and this one has certainly had some modifications over the years. I even took an historic book on the hill climb with me, and I recommend anyone staying here to do a little research before arrival. My one comment about the bathroom, is that it might have been better to have had a conventional modern shower unit installed, rather than a mock older styled claw foot bath with low shower attachment, since such a bath may not be suitable for the more elderly. One thing didn't work...the DVD player, we even purchased replacement batteries on Christmas day, but it needs replacing...fortunately, we had a laptop with us, and discovering an HDMI cable in the TV table, meant that we could hook it up...and, we could subsequently watch our DVD..."Where Eagles Dare"! It wouldn't have been a hardship though not to have watched TV, of course...even in 1905, such things existed in no one's minds, radio and electric light being distant luxuries!
All in all, a very pleasant stay in a fascinating and sympathetically restored cottage, dedicated to Malcolm Campbell.

"Lovely cottage but drafty."
There was a problem with a large number of flies that seem to be living in the walls of the property. Beautiful views all around location Lovely and quiet very well equipped

"Cleaning behind furniture needs to be done."
Replacement light bulbs would be very helpful as some were not working . Better lighting in the living room and dining area. The cottage itself has lots of charm and is in a beautiful area. As others have said I can imagine it to be very noisy when meetings are happening but as this didn’t happen when we stayed it was very quiet and relaxing.

"Beautiful location set in very scenic countryside."
Lots of options for walks from the cottage and cycling on the rural lanes. We chose the cottage because of the Shelsley Walsh hill climb and if you like cars / motorsport then this is a great choice. There were several events on through the week so it was noisy at times, but very quiet otherwise. Also, a gorgeous timber framed cottage, full of character (including low doors and uneven floors, which we liked). Beds were very firm. Would have been nice to have been provided with more towels, oven gloves and information on local attractions / facilities, but otherwise the cottage was well equipped. There is a cellar (external access door) where bikes can be stored, which was very handy. Despite making the request, bed not set up as twins (but turned out not to be a problem for us).

"It was a lovely cottage."
Really unique.
The only thing perhaps worth mentioning was the large number of flies buzzing around upstairs- we are not sure where they came from but every time we killed one, 3 more would come out! Not a huge issue but might be worth investigating.

"What great two cottages, we booked them both as we were two families and exceeded the six rule we took them both and were extremely please."
In a beautiful spot surrounded by fields, woods, sheep and such peace and quite (not sure unless i was a car enthusiast would rent if there was a hill climb on but I am sure they would either not rent or would warn you. Pretty sure we were the first families in there as everything seemed to be brand new. Kitchens had everything you would ever need (and we cooked). Couple of things I would love to chat to the owners or managers directly so hope after this they put me in touch directly. Nothing big at all but I rent properties and you can always improve small things. By the way the beds and bedding were stunning and so comfy. They do mention but be aware they are old quirky cottages with creaky uneven floors and small steep stair cases but again I was bought up in that type of house so for us it was lovely. Surrounding area has plenty to do and places to visit. Nice pubs, places to eat and lovely walks. Would go back again tomorrow. Only complaint was we wanted to stay longer. Thank you.

"Although your listing said that there was no WiFi at the cottage, WiFi was available."
Also, I think you should mention that because of the age of the property, the downstairs ceilings are quite low which may be uncomfortable for taller guests.
