  • "House is lovely, exactly as listed."

Very clean, comfortable, well insulated and easy to find. All facilities we needed and we had a great time.

  • "Great cottage , everything anybody could need."

Would we stay here again , DEFINITELY. We could not find your cottage from the directions. Any one from outside the area won't know were the Fintra road is.I think road numbers are more useful. It may be my problem but my 2 sat navs would not recognise the area code you supplied.10 out of 10 for your cottage.

  • "Lovely site."

Great facilities with Wi-Fi and tv. Directions to find not great and we had moulded bread in cupboards and bins not emptied. Small points though - all about the location which was great!

  • "The cottage is in a beautiful location but not very accessible to neighbouring village ."

When we arrived I had to clean the fridge . Both bins outside were full. The beds were comfy and we had some lovely nights in front of the lighted open fire. The bathroom is very small and shower is very close to toilet. Upon arrival owner messaged for my email as she said she wanted to send me some information regarding my stay but never responded to my reply. Mary

  • "Hello, The nature surrounding the cottage is beautiful."

The room with two beds is very comfortable. Unfortunately, The "bathroom" is not at all acceptable. We originally booked for a week, and we left after three nights..., because of the lack of cleanless, and the "bathroom" where the toilet are so close from the shower... The indications of localisation lacked a lot of precision. Maybe should you propose the GPS informations. It took us almost two hours to find the cottage after having asked to someone who knew the place and who took the time to show us himself where it stand. I'm sorry to tell you that, in my opinion, it's not possible to rent the cottage at the rate we paid (1231 €). Kind regards. Guillaume Balland (France).

I’m very shocked to read your review. Yours is the first that is so negative. We are sorry you feel like this. Our cleaners always do an excellent job so this is also a shock but I will talk with them about your review. OurEirvofe has not presented a problem for others. Property Owner

  • "Lovely location."

Anyone who is looking for a really remote stay will definently find it here. The nearby town was full of friendly locals, had a great beach and a couple of pubs with plenty to drink. The house itself had a kitchen a bit too small for the 5 of us that was staying but served us well. The bedroom was plenty big and had very very comfy beds. The living room was cozy especially with the fire lit. Overall a brilliant wee house for the price.

  • "A beautiful little cottage a few miles from Glencolmcille."

We enjoyed our stay here (2 adults and a well behaved German Shepherd). Living area was big enough. The entire cottage was spotless, well decorated and perfect for us. The cottage is nestled between mountains and provides a beautiful 360’ backdrop for your stay. Our dog loved walking down the private lane and up the road. (I’d suggest only having your dog on lead because there are soooo many sheep and even the most well behaved dog could have their prey drive triggered.. Thankfully my dog just wags the tail looking to play but walks on

  • "We loved how remote this home was."

we stayed for a week to shut off from the day to day of normal life and it felt like a different world. it was a great place to explore from and it was a cosy home to sit by the fire in bad weather and in the nights. There is zero phone signal but the wifi is amazing. The host was so kind and a well of information via whatsapp. For a quite get away you wont find a better place.

  • "The cottage is set on a hill, in the beautiful west of Ireland."

Scenery is amazing, and the area is spectacular. But, it was really hard to find the cottage. I was unable to use postcode in my Google maps. I was unable to contact the owner. A sign at the entrance would be helpful. And maybe to send a link for the location. The garbage bin outside was overflowing & animals got into it, so there was garbage all around the yard. No instructions were left in the cottage for any guidance on using the facilities. The furnishings are old & outdated. I think the cottage could use a little facelift.

  • "Great host."

I was in contact with owner herself directly who was a very nice and kind lady and took care of everything. The only thing that i was not happy with that there was no washing machine and with two kids it was difficult to deal with too much laundry. The place was overwhelming. A little warm and cosy cottage surrounded by mountains and nature. Away from everything in life. It was all us and the nature and sheep. Hahaha. Cottage was located very close to Ardara and many attractions and beaches. Highly recommend it.
