  • "We had a wonderful week, loved the property and the area."

Our car broke down during our stay and the owners could not have been more helpful.

  • "For the price you guys charge this property could really do with getting updated."

The house is very old and really needs a bit of tlc. I personally feel we paid double what we should have paid for this house.

  • "Gorgeous spot."

A house on its own at the end oi a long lane, with clumps of wild yellow irises in bloom, deep purple foxgloves on the verges and early signs of wild hedge fuscias of a rich pinkish red . Fields of buttercups, a back drop of mixed forest and beyond that high patchwork hills. Kerry meat is oh so delicious and tender. Cattle graze the fields. No traffic passes Forest View and so the peace and quiet is complete. Do visit Barbara's tearoom at Ballinskelligs sandy bay, complete with McCarthy's castle and an acient Abbey. Trips out to Skellig Michael on fine days. Fishing on Lough Currane, a massive lake behind Waterville. We went at end of May and the weather was sunny (mostly). Forest View is not a deluxe modern place; we wouldn't want that. It's an old working farm. If you like privacy yet close to places to visit, then this will be for you, as it was for us.
