  • "Lovely house."

Plenty of room and well equiped. The room with the window overlooking the sea is probably one the best ways to spend an evening watching the surf and sunset!

  • "Ideal Location for seeing seeing Donegal South."

Few minutes drive into Bundoran with a Bus route going past the house if you don't want to drive. I had two 3 older teenagers with me and the house being split into three floors gave them privacy they needed. Love the living area and the view of the sea from the 1st floor. The only negative thing I would say is the some of the bedrooms needs better blinds curtains especially one of the bedrooms on the ground.

Though I have pointed this out it was still a nice property and we enjoyed our stay.

  • "Great weekend away."

We booked for a family get together. The house was grand, warm and cosy. Great views of the ocean, enjoyed watching the surfers out each morning catching a few waves. Everything you need. Multiple bathrooms, WiFi, the stove was an added bonus. Not far at all from Bundoran. Also a couple of good eating options near by. Nothing to complain about.

I COULD ONLY FIND 3 CEREAL BOWLS THAT WEREN'T PLASTIC OVERALL IT NEEDS A REALLY DEEP CLEAN. BEDROOMS DOWNSTAIRS DAMP AND BEDROOMS UPSTAIRS WE HAD TO REMOVE LOTS OF COBWEBS. THE VIEWS ARE AMAZING AND LOCATION IS GREAT BUT NOTHING ABOUT THE .CLEANLINESS IS ACCEPTABLE

  • "The freezer door wouldn't close from being full of ice."

The downstairs shower head wouldn't stay in its holder as it was broken. The downstairs bathroom needs replaced, which the vendor said was planned. A few of the chairs should be replaced in the lounge area. One of the attic bedroom windows wouldn't close or had functioning shade. We had issues with the hot water and WiFi, but the vendor was quick to resolve these problems

  • "This house was perfect for us."

We were 3 adults, 2 teenagers, a nine year old and a Labrador. Fantastic location for my husband and kids who surf. They could literally watch the surf from living room window and walk out when they wanted. Great enclosed back yard for our youngest (who has additional needs) and our dog. Very warm and comfortable and lots of space. Will be back

The house is lovely a little dated but fine. I would say it is not suitable for small children. My kids were fin (8&10) . It would be handy to have a clothes horse to dry clothes and a colander Marion lovely lady and very helpful. We would definitely go back.

Dishwasher not working for the entire week, a huge inconvenience. Main cold tap in kitchen not working properly; The TV wasn’t working for 3 days, it had to b repaired. WiFi not working for the entire week.

  • "Fantastic house in a fantastic location with unbelievable views over the sea."

The only fault we found was the Internet, it's advertised as having wi-fi but the wi-fi is at an additional cost and is terrible and not worth having. If they got proper internet into the property it would be a faultless house.

Arrived about 5:30 and waited til seven. No one showed so started calling only numbers we had, Booking.com and Sykes. Seems you need a local number to call when you get to the cottage. The caretaker was not happy after waiting for three hours for our call. Sykes needs to pay attention to the little details!

  • "Amazing location overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and great views of the local surfers."

Split level house with bedrooms and ground and upper floor. Living, dining, kitchen area on middle floor with plenty of Windows to take in the view. 3 toilets and 2 showers worked well for 10 people. Wood burner was out of order which was a bit disappointing as it was winter but there is gas heating so plenty of constant heat!! Only 1 slight complaint - downstairs bed linen in 1 room wasn't very clean and looked like it was really old and grubby and we changed it using another in the cupboard which wasn't very fresh. Overall we really enjoyed this house and would consider staying again! Thank you to Marion for her prompt arrival with the keys.

My daughter loved to sit in the playroom, which looked out over the sea, and watch the surfers. Close to Bundoran town which although off season had very welcoming g pubs and restaurants

  • "Location of house is lovely and the view that comes with it."

We have been booking holiday homes for years and this house was the most dirty one we have ever stayed in. We had two 9 month old babies with us therefore we had to clean as soon as we went in. We assumed late check in was due to the house getting ready for us but there was cobwebs and spiders absolutely everywhere and such a horrible smell around the whole house. It could be a really good house it just needs some TLC. Kitchen utensils were filthy I had to clean everything including fan extractor which hadn't been cleaned in a long time and supplied with only one tea towel and a few bin bags. Not really appropriate for 8 adults. Overall not a bad stay however wouldn't return. Which is sad as this could have been a regular place for us to bring our kids growing up.

  • "2 Fishery Cottages has stunning views and is a stunning property however we there are a number of issues: 1/ To change tv channel you have to run to downstairs bedroom 2/ no blind in downstairs bedroom (so had to block light and provide privacy with cases) 3/ kitchen tap leaks constantly 4/ lights in lounge flicker like a disco 4/ the aerial socket is hanging off the wall (not great with young children) 5/ no instruction manual for property (only found there was WiFi on last day) 6/ beds uncomfortable and short 7/only one key for front door (there was 9 of us staying at property) 8/ no pegs for washing line."

9/ advised on arrival log burner wasn’t working 10/ couldn’t figure out how to get hot water without having to flick a switch and wait an hour or two every time hot water needed. Some of these issues may sound petty but when you pay over a £1000 for a week I’d expect a better level of accommodation and because of this would probably not use Sykes again!
