Clean with everything you would need for a break away. On site caretaker was lovely and helpful when needed.

  • "Clean, comfortable and well equipped cottage which looked newly renovated."

Easy check-in and the caretaker was quick to respond when contacted. Beautiful grounds and gardens and some games provided for children (and grown-ups). The only downside was that the master bedroom was damp which made the bed damp too. The autumn weather didn't help as it rained heavily every day. It is an old building, so these issues can't be avoided. We would come again and we enjoyed the region. Would recommend a visit to Slapton Sands!

Claire, Thank you for your comments. I am glad that you had a good stay and would like to come again - perhaps in the summer. We discovered that the rear exterior stone wall of our cottage which borders the neighbouring smallholding had in a small section, suffered with some stonework falling away. This had left the inner skin exposed and hence the cold/damp patch which had developed. I am pleased to say that this has now been fully repaired. Thank you for pointing it out. Best regards, John Hill. Property Owner
