Honeypot Lodge is very comfortable and clean, the furniture is stylish and good quality, and the kitchen has everything you could need. Deb the owner was so helpful and gave us lots of useful suggestions on places to visit. It is without doubt the loveliest cottage we have ever stayed in, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to visit Cornwall.

Very quiet and easy to get to with ample parking. The lodge had everything you needed and was very well equipped. Owner was helpful and gave lots of info on lodge, places to visit and local amenities. The cream tea on arrival was very much appreciated. Would highly recommend a stay here. Couldn’t fault it.

Very quick on answeringmessages. A few niggles but got sorted straight away . Beautiful clean lodge. Everything you will need is there .a few gripes 1. Could do with instructions for washing machine ..which was brilliant.

Thanks Gail, loved having you stay. Sorry my fault, the instructions for the washing machine, and all the other equipment, are in the drawer of the unit near the television. You all will be very welcome on, hopefully, a return visit. Property Owner

  • "Honeypot Lodge is a perfect hideaway in the Cornish countryside."

Our family of four and two dogs loved staying here in this quiet location. Lovely walks on the doorstep and a selection of dog friendly beaches a short drive away. The lodge itself was beautiful, clean and we'll equipped. Three good sized bedrooms, two bathrooms and a good sized living area meant there was plenty of space for all of us. Debs provided lots of really useful information and was on hand if needed. Whole there, we went to Trebarwith Strand and Black Rock Beach, both dog friendly beaches with cafe/pub and parking. We also visited Seaview Farm Shop which was a 15 minute drive from the lodge and served to best all-day breakfast! We loved it and will definitely be back.

I loved having you at the lodge, and it made my Easter to hear all the places you had been. The family, both human and furry, settled in and I so happy you enjoyed your time there. Please do use as it as a home from home in the future. Property Owner

  • "Honeypot lodge is part of a holiday village but the location is very quiet, with no light pollution."

There is a small road immediately outside the village but traffic is very light. The garden is not enclosed so be careful if you have wandering dogs! I understand that the owner may rectify this in the future. Inside was very light and welcoming. Adequate cooking facilities. Good internet, OK phone signal but that depends on your provider. Lovely wet room and waterfall shower downstairs, more traditional bath/shower setup upstairs. Plenty of rugs for the dogs to lie on. Deb was very proactive prior to our stay, texting us lots of useful info and dog friendly beaches. Nearest dog-friendly beach 10 miles away at Black Rock. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it to those who want peace and quiet!

  • "We really enjoyed this superb and well appointed cottage with modern services, smart televisions, Wi-Fi etc."

The owner is truly engaging and helpful, providing instructions and information on the local facilities via WhatsApp. It’s perfectly positioned to access the northern Cornwall beaches whilst also offering quick access to the main arterial roads. We’d certainly return and the dog loved it too!

  • "We had great time at Honeypot Lodge, Davidstow."

The Lodge was very y comfortable and spotless. I took my own cleaning supplies, but didn't need to as all was provided by owner. On our arrival there was little gift of milk, cornish tea, biscuits and fudge, what a thoughtful touch to start off our holiday. Deb the owner, was very helpful sending us lots of information for things to do and places to eat locally. All in all a great holiday and place to stay.

  • "What a wonderful place this is."

If you are looking for peace and quiet then you will find it at Honey pot lodge. In a beautiful area of the countryside, but not too far away from anywhere. The lodge itself is extremely comfortable, with everything that you would need. Very high standards of furnishings, well equipped and spotlessly clean. We took our dog, and there are lots of lovely places to go walking. The beaches are all within easy driving distance. The site itself is nice and small, and extremely well maintained. It is so peaceful, truly a very relaxing place to stay. The owner of the lodge was incredibly helpful, nothing was too much trouble, as was the manager of the site. I really can’t recommend this place highly enough, and we hope to return!

  • "We only used the lodge as a base and spent all day out and about exploring Cornwall, but it is a lovely place if you just want peace and quiet to relax."

As stated it is very comfortable and exceptionally well stocked with every utensil you could possibly need. Beautifully furnished and immaculate. All amenities quite close, including the cheapest petrol we found anywhere, just outside Camelford. Camelford is a useful village with all essentials and a nice place for a wander. Love the cafe there! Not too far to the lovely places of Padstow, Tintagel, Boscastle, and Port Isaac which was a highlight. The nearest pub is just over 2 miles away and very lively and friendly. Serves very good food at a reasonable price. Would definitely like to return!
