  • "Property very tired and in need of some downtime so it can be brought up to scratch."

Sofas incredibly uncomfortable and smelly and nowhere to sit to relax and read. Didn't find a welcome pack and couldn't sort out the lack of signal for the tv or the heating. Garden not dog friendly. No cleaning materials so couldn't keep the place clean for myself. Also if you have an electric toothbrush, bring your own two pin plug to charge it as there is no shaver socket.

  • "Settees were very uncomfortable."

In the summer this wouldn't matter so much, but at this time of the year, the television kept losing channels or unable to get channels. There were no information regarding the property instructions example where to find WiFi code, how to use cooker, things to do, what to do when leaving the property. Otherwise everything was good and appreciated the wine and cakes.

  • "We enjoyed our second stay at Priory House Cottage."

It is in such a peaceful area , delightful bird song especially in the evening. The bed is so so comfortable but the sofas need some “firming up” with the cushions - not easy for us senior citizens getting up from sofas. We certainly will come back again.

  • "The sofas are a little tired!"

Also the shower showed a fault which we had to look up on the internet and we managed to reset it, minor things though and overall we were quite happy with the cottage.

  • "Absolutely perfect lovely cottage spotlessly clean, very comfortable, view lovely, perfect spot close to many main spots of north Devon, just loved the cottage, bed really comfy, only thing I would say is I loved the sofas just need maybe a piece of ply under the seat cushions as you sink down when you sit on them springs may be a bit worn although lovely sofas, we loved all the treats left on the Table, and great to have lots of tea coffee sugar and milk there Thankyou so much would love to stay again."

  • "A very relaxing holiday and beautiful cottage."

Everything I needed provided and very peaceful. My dog had nothing to bark at LOL. Highly recommended

  • "We did not want to leave."

We spent two idyllic weeks at the cottage. We had everything we needed for a great stay. Being long time Cornwall holiday makers, we were a little disappointed with North Devon. We struggled a bit to find dog friendly places. But when we did we had a great time. Instow beach for example. We would stay again.

  • "We found Priory cottage to be of the highest standard and was very well equipped."

We had a very minor issue and rang the maintenance team who arrived within the hour and solved it instantly. I would highly recommend it.
