LIFTON

Launceston 5 miles; Tavistock 10.1 miles.

Lifton is a small village in the upper Tamar Valley, close to the market town of Tavistock and just over the border from Launceston. The village is ideally placed near the A30 providing great road links into Cornwall. This pretty community is blessed with a village shop and post office, pubs and restaurants. At the far end of the village is an award-winning farm shop/pick-your-own complex with a bakery and on-site restaurant.

Lifton is well placed for visiting anywhere in the South West. Dartmoor is 20 minutes away by car, Bodmin Moor is 30 minutes plus there are many great beaches and tourist attractions that can be reached in under 45 minutes.
