  • "We could not be happier with our 3 night stay in the little silver pheasant, we felt we could relax from the minute we arrived."

The pre arrival information was really helpful and the property was easy to find, the golf buggies made the stay even more fun and the arrival package was really thoughtful, the property was immaculate and had everything we needed. The hot tub was always ready and very private and luxurious. We cooked a few meals during the stay and the property was well equipped. The bed was really comfy with amazing views all around and very quiet. We would love to return again soon.

Brilliant recommendations from pubs/tourist attractions/walks/Beeches, sorry to leave, Enjoyed! It all, The huts are amazing! Welcome basket was fantastic! The hosts just keep going above and beyond expectations, Comfy and everything in them you need for a short stay away, beautifully done.

Aww, can you see us blushing from here! Thank you so much for your kind works. We are glad you liked the new guidebook, we think it works really well for guests to be able to have all the information at their finger tips. We are super lucky to be surrounded by some great pubs, beaches etc. We have the best of both worlds by being situated in the countryside, but with some fabulous beaches a short drive away. • "Wow! This is a little bit of paradise!"

Such a beautiful shepherd’s hut in a wonderful location. Everything was perfect from the welcome hamper to the superb hot tub and the fun golf buggy! We experienced every sort of weather but it made the holiday even more special, especially when it snowed! With the wood burner lit it was so cosy, though the under floor heating was enough in itself. The perfect place for some rest and relaxation but close enough to get to a range of amenities and coastal towns. Thank you Peter and Lisa for a wonderful stay!

Aww, we think it’s paradise, and it’s so lovely to hear that our guests feel the same way! The orchard and huts truly feel like something magical when we are lucky enough to have snow, and it’s really lovely to be warm and cosy in the hut while enjoying the spectacle from the window. • "We have had a truly fantastic, really comfortable and relaxing break in Little Silver Pheasant."

Every single need was catered for and every inch of the accommodation had been used to maximise its storage etc. The underfloor heating provided great heat and we didn’t need to use the log burner. We had one night of torrential rain but the roof is so well insulated, we couldn’t hear it much at all. Hot tub was lovely and warm and immaculately clean. We would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone wishing to stay locally.

Thank you for your lovely comments. North Devon is lovely and warm but rain does sometimes happen (!) so it's good to confirm the huts are cosy and the hot tub is both hot and clean :). We find some guests just slide down further underwater if a cloud passes overhead. Property Owner

  • "Lovely, well equipped hut."

Underfloor heating keeps it really warm, didn't need to light the wood burner one during our stay. Hot tub really spacious for two and private, however privacy is at the expense of the lovely view which is hidden behind the the laurel hedge when you are in the tub. If you want the view then book one of the other huts, they all look lovely, but for privacy book Little Silver Pheasant.

Hello, that you for your kind works and we are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We try to offer maximum privacy to each hut and use bushes for screening. With Little Silver Pheasant it can sometimes be a balancing act with the bushes to keep them cut at just the right height so that they offer maximum screening for privacy, but still give a view. It’s always quite difficult in the winter months as we are restricted with not being able to trim them back in the cold weather. Property Owner
