"We enjoyed our stay."
Positives: -great location, close to town/ seafront, very quiet, residential, affluent area -house is spacious and well equipped -downstairs loo a big plus, as it wasn’t mentioned in the listing , therefore we didn’t at first even consider this property for 5 people, as one bathroom listed only -welcome pack was a nice touch - sitting room comfortable for a few people to enjoy an evening, lovely sofas Negatives: - bins outside were almost full with previous visitors rubbish still there, the welcome pack bag was still there - food leftovers in the freezer and other places - cleanliness wasn’t great - the steps leading to tiny outside seating area were very dangerous, extremely slippery and covered in green moss, making a serious accident likely to happen . - shower wasn’t great , especially for 3 bedroom property! Shower screen flimsy and hardly protecting from splashing , shower head came off every time we showered - upstairs area needs better, more comfortable furniture to sit and relax. Overall we enjoyed the stay, mainly for the location and comfortable space the house provided. Thank you.

The property
Emerging from the quaint town of Lyme Regis, Dorset, this stone terraced house invites you to begin your Jurassic coast adventure. Be welcomed into a homely sitting room after your journey, where you will find a traditional style fireplace and several sofas in which you will be able to recline with a hot chocolate and plan the day ahead of you.
Before setting off to the beach, walk through the property to discover an open-plan kitchen/diner providing you with all of the home-from-home amenities to help you create a heart-warming meal, before presenting it on the central dining table, and a theme of blue throughout this space reminds you that the coast is only a short drive away.
When in need of rest, follow the stairs up to the bedrooms where you will first find a king-size room offering sea views and two more rooms, a twin room and a bunk, perfect for children to relax in, as well as a family bathroom where you can enjoy a soak after a log day spent walking along the shore.
The most intriguing feature of this property is the somewhat secret loft conversion, and to reach this you will climb the quirky spiral staircase, reaching a glass wall, and when you enter this space, you will be delighted at the welcoming seating, fresh wooden floors and high ceilings painted white with added skylights to create an airy space that encourages you to spend an evening with a cup of tea and a book.
If you wish to dine outside, a bench on a patio offers the perfect spot for breakfast in the sun.
As you begin your Dorset adventure, you will be delighted to find that the town of Lyme Regis offers many cafes, restaurants and pubs for you to choose from, and there is also the option of local craft shops selling everything from paintings and home-made produce to fossils found at the beach!
There is a variety of beaches along the coastline, and if you wish to have a picnic on a sandy beach, then Sandy Beach and Monmouth Beach are perfect for you, or if you wish to try to discover some amazing fossils, then the Jurassic coast best offers this from Lyme Regis Fossil Beach.
For the perfect family day out, visit the Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium where you will see many fascinating creatures that can be found along the coast, or head over to Dinosaurland Fossil Museum to explore the intriguing prehistoric world hiding beneath the rocks.
