• "What a lovely place to stay and relax."

  Just watching the river with the tide, wildlife and boats was fantastic. The studio was excellent with everything you needed for a brilliant holiday. The host was wonderful with nothing being too much if we needed it. The view from the lounge is amazing with so much to see. The area is great with lots of friendly locals and 3 good pubs. Plenty of good walks or just relaxing on the balcony.

• "This is probably the best holiday rental we have ever stayed in."

  Fabulous location with amazing views, studio well equipped and beautifully laid out. Peace and quiet when you need and 3 pubs all within walking distance (tide allowing). We tried to book again for next year but already fully booked up for the dates we wanted. Never mind! We will be back!

• "If you want a relaxing break you will love the Junket Studio, the view is totally stunning where you can watch the tide come and go, people swimming, paddle boarding and the boats."

  Lots of lovely walks with a few nice pubs to stop at while out. The studio is well equipped and well finished, our dog loved the private boat ramp for a swim. Just be prepared for tight roads coming in and out of Noss Mayo, but well worth the drive. Linda the owner is a lovely lady and provided extra information before arrival along with a lovely Devon cream tea. Fantastic property, area, owner.

  The view from the window is amazing and there are many good places to go nearby. It’s a great place for walking. I can recommend Ben’s Farm Shop as a good shop for food. It’s not very far away. Saltram House is an interesting visit too.

• "Really clean, comfortable and perfect for two."

  The facilities are top class, the view from the balcony is amazing and there are two pubs serving great food within walking distance. There are lots of fantastic walks within 10 minutes of the house and many more things to do a bit further afield. We will definitely be back!

• "We had a great week at Junket Studio."

  The property is lovely, very clean and very well equipped. The location is stunning with uninterrupted views of the River Yealm from both the balcony and the lounge and bedroom. The very friendly owner contacted us prior to the holiday with useful information about both the property, surrounding villages and ideas of pleases to visit. Would highly recommend this property if looking for a relaxing holiday.

• "WOW Wonderfull property, light, fantastic views, comfortable, very romantic, quiet but near all facilities, dog friendly."

  Lot of good walks and dog friendly beaches. 3 lovely local pubs, two in easy walking distance and the other 5 mins by car. The Ship being our favourite. Also the Green, deli/ coffee for light meals, coffee, cakes. Definitely we will be coming back. Many thanks to our lovely hosts for the welcome phone call, wine, flowers and cream tea. Hope to retune soon, Linda, Robin and Marley our Pooch.

  Just to clarify the studio is fully equipped with everything you would need for a self catering holiday. The cutlery drawer is situated under the hob in the kitchen . We were never asked where the cutlery drawer was situated so assumed that everything was ok. Property Owner

• "How lovely it has been to return to the fabulous Junket Studio for the second time."

  This cleverly designed property is deceptively spacious with the fully glazed frontage providing panoramic views across Newton Creek to picturesque Newton Ferrers. The stylishly furnished interior is extremely comfortable and we enjoyed relaxing in the early evening sunshine on the patio. We were very lucky to have sunny weather again enabling us to fully appreciate the spectacular coastal scenery and visits to Mothecombe Beach. It was great to be able to walk to the nearby local pubs, namely The Ship and The Swan for drinks and lovely food.

  The studio was immaculately clean and the owners could not have been more helpful and accommodating. The kitchen in particular was ideal for self catering - rarely have I booked a holiday home with better facilities! The bed was very comfortable indeed. Nothing negative to say - it was fabulous and I would highly recommend it to a couple looking for something a bit luxurious as a base to come back to after a great day exploring the area.

  - It’s very stylish, comfortable and well-equipped and had plenty of storage space for all our stuff. The setting was stunning and as we were quite lucky with the weather we spent the week with the doors pushed back, enjoying the terrace and even a swim in the creek off ‘our’ jetty. Communication with Linda was brilliant - she had lots of local tips and was welcoming and helpful. Loved everything about it!

• "Junket Cottage is exactly as described."

  The car parking arrangements are excellent with plenty of room, a real plus in Noss Mayo. The staff at The Ship and The Swan are very friendly, the food at both is good with The Ship offering a more high end experience. Noss Mayo is quite hilly, a point worth bearing in mind if mobility is a problem with no car parking to speak of at the pubs although we did use the taxi from Wembury, the owner is very friendly and accommodating.

  The location was idyllic and the owner, Linda, had thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible, passing on lots of local tips about places to visit and where to eat. We were very lucky with the weather so were able to make full use of local beaches and the waterside setting at Noss Mayo.

• "What a fabulous property in an idyllic location overlooking the beautiful Newton Creek."

  Junket Studio is an exceptionally well designed and well equipped dwelling with modern, stylish decor creating an extremely comfortable living space. We had a truly wonderful week filled with coastal and estuary walking along with a couple of visits to the lovely Mothecombe beach. In addition, we had some good food at local pubs, The Swan and The Ship, which are both within walking distance of the property. We've already booked again for next year - what better recommendation could you have!

  Although one bedroom there was plenty of space. Fantastic view overlooking the estuary. Only downside were the steps leading down to the studio. It would be useful to show a photo of these in the description as may be difficult for anyone with a disability.

  Linda was even able to tell us if we could check in earlier, which was very useful. The studio was in a great position with fantastic views all around and was fully fitted with all the mod cons. Perfect stay for two with or without a dog. A lovely place to stay and communication from Linda was amazing.

• "The studio is beautiful and watching the activity on the river amazing."

  The sun is on the balcony in the afternoon which is ideal, we could go out and about in the area and get back to enjoy the sunshine and especially the sun setting on the water. There are 3 pubs within walking distance so easy to eat out. The owner Linda could not have been more helpful and made sure she was available if you needed anything.

  So nice to receive a holiday that you 'hope' you are going to get. The only thing we found was that there wasn't any shops close to us. Even the one convenience store was quite a way from our digs. But beautiful place with a few descent pubs for food close by.

  Also has an added bonus of a parking space :) It has all the requirements that you need for a holiday, perfect for 2 people The local eateries are all very good and welcoming, there area some good walks to do round the coast path, which starts of steep, but the views are amazing.   It was stylish with a modern decor. It was warm and spotlessly clean. A very comfortable bed which gave a good night’s sleep. The kitchen was well stocked which made self catering very easy. The views over the estuary were full of interest. Nearby local pubs within walking distance. Linda the owner was fantastic. She was so helpful with lots advice about where to go and what to do. We didn’t mind the weather as there are lots of very good walks nearby. We couldn’t of asked for anything more from a place to stay or from our gracious host. Fab, fab, fab! ❤️

• "Junket Studio is utterly lovely and has been decorated, equipped and furnished beautifully."

  The view through the full length windows and beyond the deck is a joy and ever changing with the tides and the weather. I know it is a quiet time of year, but the position is very peaceful and relaxing and even in the height of the season, I would guess that would be the same. We would definitely hope to return. Linda as host was helpful, warm and welcoming and thank you to her for the bottle in the fridge and cream tea on arrival! We loved both Noss Mayo and Newton Ferrers and enjoyed some good walks through woodland and out onto the coastal paths. Only one suggestion and that is to maybe provide a little more crockery - as it is a place for two, it takes a little time to fill up the dishwasher and not wanting to run it only half full, some more crockery and glassware would be an idea . . . pretty minor observation really! We are very satisfied and well rested customers.

  Junket Studio is a definite must for any couple staying in this area. The views were stunning and due to the fabulous weather, we made the most of the large balcony to soak up the evening sunshine. There are numerous walks from the property, so there was no need to use our car everyday. Extremely helpful and welcoming hosts too!

  We were welcomed by the owner who is very friendly and goes out of her way to help with any questions or advice you require for the studio and the surrounding area. The studio is furnished to a high standard with everything you need to enjoy a lovely relaxing holiday. We made great use of the private slipway at the bottom of the garden launching our canoe and enjoying the ever changing views of the river. We enjoyed numerous walks straight from the door and in the surrounding areas. There are many nearby beautiful sandy beaches. We would not hesitate to recommend.

• "A beautiful studio in an area of fantastic English countryside."

  Everything we needed was provided and the owner was super helpful re dogs walks etc. We had a lovely time, despite the mud following a very wet Spring, managing to walk a good few miles each day and even had a couple of warm sunny days, when we made good use of the terrace. The local, the Ship Inn, provided good priced meals when we could not be bothered to cook and it was a joy just to sit and watch the tides ebb and flow - although we never quite got the hang of when each should happen! Locals were unfailingly friendly and welcoming. Would thoroughly recommend.
