  • "Lovely comfortable property, with wonderful facilities in the centre of town."

Amazing views as well. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

  • "Location is brilliant."

Apartment was not as clean as it could be, but that is nit picking….., we had to wash the cups and glasses before using them. Windows and frames etc need a clean. Need to advise guests to bring their own chairs/lounges for the garden/pool.

  • "Apartment 24 is a fabulous apartment, with great views over the estuary one minute away from the main quay."

Well equipped and the leather sofas bespoke for a perfect fit. Nautical theme throughout, loved the sailing yacht above the bed. Lugging of our baggage was a bind from the lower car park was made easier using the street entrance.( no lift to second floor) However, the 12ins step between levels in the appt. Made things awkward for my wife, recovering from a hip operation. I just can't understand why the owner hasn't installed a secondary step or a grab handle on the wall. Beware of the loud noises from the appts. above when they move and drag their terrace furniture on the balconies above.Very annoying.

  • "The step in each room they highlighted in the apartment are much higher than normal stair steps and require a hand rail on each wall to assist guests of a certain age There are two flights of stairs to the apartment and it is a long way from the car park with long corridors to the apartment which we found difficult carrying all our luggage so far There is a lift in the building but this does not go to Flat 24 As in a previous review the quilt was badly stained so perhaps now is the time to replace it!"

  • "The property is lovely, great views, great position in the heart of Salcombe, everything you need in the apartment to make your stay comfortable."

On the last day we were asked to strip the bed which was no problem to us but we were not happy with the duvet, it was quite badly stained and a bit grubby. We were also a little upset by the parking. We adhered to the park in your numbered bay but there were lots of workmen in vans and pickup trucks on the car park so we were a little concerned about our car being damaged whilst it was parked. All in all a great place we just had a few issues that we thought needed to be mentioned.

As I need a walking stick,so should say in the advert, also need some instruction about whether to strip the bed or not and where to put used towels etc. Otherwise the apartment is amazing and we loved our stay with the lovely views from the windows. .

Just right for a couple. Perfectly situated and having the garden a pool to relax in was special, given the village centre location.

  • "The apartment was lovely and the views fantastic."

a very well equipped kitchen. In the information when booking we were not told there was no lift up to the second floor. My husband has mobility issues so our arrival was a nightmare given that there was no drop off, blue badge parking or unloading at the front of the building and I had to carry our luggage from the bottom car park up two flights of stairs. When we worked out the access out on to the street it made it workable but there is no parking there. When departing I loaded the car from the street level at 6 00 am when the road is quiet. I do think the no lift ought to be made quite clear on the information about the property. It wouldn't stop us returning as the location is superb but it would have been helpful to know the logistics before we arrived.

no warning of the internal 2 steps-9.5" approx-not suitable for elderly especially using the bathroom at night. ancient shower unit-not private bathroom. no extractor fan have to climb in bath to reach window. wardrobe has ugly lock on doors- mop and bucket in usable wardrobe lhoover in wardrobe full of dirt- unbelievable to hang personal clothing bedlinen and towels old and very poor quality-pillows collapsed oven hadn't been cleaned-had to wash saucepans and fry pans. no extractor fan in kitchen - too cold on the first week in march to leave balcony doors open and sit on the sofa. carpets throughout need cleaning replacement of balcony floor directly above the apartment -noise was unbearable - carried on for more than 3 days. had to walk the streets to get out of it -other apartments. having major refurbishment overall not a pleasant experience - future bookings need to be made aware if other heavy maintenance is being carried out. glad to come back home for the peace and quiet and rest that we had travelled all the way to salcombe for for my dear husband.

  • "There is no signage to the flat from either entrance."

The main entrance simply omits any directions and the lift weirdly doesnt ho to one end of 2nd floor. the other entrance is only shown as entrance to the restaurant. Not great when lugging heavy bags around. Needs signage.
