"Firstly the location is fantastic with a wonderful view across the exe estuary from the rear of the property, and a short walk from the Exmouth beach, railway station and town centre."
The property itself was reasonably as described. In regards to the general condition of property we would say it was comfortable although in need of some tlc with the living room furniture in particular being quite tired. In regards to cleanliness the linen etc was all clean however the property itself only appeared to had a very quick clean with a lot dust found on surfaces such as the cooker hood and other surfaces, and a top being found in the living area. Also of note when we arrived we found it slightly awkward to find the house as we were expecting to see the property name but the sign had been removed and there was a for sale sign up at the property which was quite surprising. All in all the property was reasonable value for money and comfortable for our group of 7.

"Driftwood has an amazing location."
We enjoyed sitting in the courtyaard and th couple with a paddleboard very much appreciated the direct access roto the estuary. The location was very convenient for the marina.
The furniture is a bit basic. Be useful to have another paid of keys The showers had no hand rails..

The location is fab and it’s beautiful to sit and watch the estuary from the sunny back garden

The property was perfect.
We had everything we needed.
The location was amazing, we did not use the cars all week!
Beaches, shops, train station, boat trips all within walking distance.
Owners very friendly. Thank you for a lovely week.
Although we live in Weymouth (almost) we had never been to Exmouth , we will definitely return.

"This house is very well equipped and items were provided that we didn't expect."
It suited our large family group perfectly. The only minor downside was the limited parking.
We were in Exmouth for a multi-family event in Budleigh and would certainly re-book if happened there again in the future.

"We all agreed that the accommodation was clean, comfortable and well stocked with very nice cutlery, crockery and kitchen appliances."
The parking was convenient, in the road directly outside the house and the provision of daily parking permits was much appreciated.
The house is nicely situated for access to the beach, shops and Railway Station.

We had a long weekend at driftwood with 9 of us staying , the house had ample room for us all and the views with a cup of coffee in the back yard in the mornings were amazing , the house its self is well maintained and clean , a short walk to everything you need either into town for supplies or through the marina to the large beach area

"In general a lovely place to stay with amazing views."
A few cleanliness issues. The tumble dryer hadn't been checked since previous Occupants and therefore hadn't been cleaned out and there were tea stains all down the drawers next to the fridge. The water pressure in the showers is very low and slow. There also wasn't a Mop provided so we couldn't wash the kitchen floor during our stay. The front and back door key should be separate and maybe provide a security box at the back so you can walk back along the beach and up the steps at the back of the property. Lovely touch to leave us items to make a hot drink on our arrival and the biscuits went down a treat. We didn't bother trying to park down the street as the car park at the end of the road is only a 3 minute walk and it's perfectly safe to leave you car there. In fact we never used our cars during our stay and it was quicker and easier to use the train. Car park was only £8 for 24 hours.

The owner, Eddy, introduced himself and was both friendly and helpful and provided a complete welcome pack which we were not expecting. Altogether a very relaxing stay in a property and location that we would recommend.
