  • "Pam’s house was situated in a fantastic position."

We did have problems with the cleanliness the oven was filthy, there was all sand and bits on the living room floor, the dish washer was full of dishes, the lights in the down stairs flat was flashing all the time ( which I phoned about on Saturday and left a message but nobody got back to me), the washing machine wash broken ( couldn’t open the door)and we could have done with a rail for the stairs because they were a bit steep. In saying all that we had a lovely time and all the bedding was spotless.

  • "Great well located property just what we were looking for."

We will definitely book again in the future, Joe resolved the only issue we had the same day brilliant service.

  • "A fantastic property in an amazing location - just two minutes from both the beach and the harbour, it really offers the best of everything wonderful Weymouth has to offer."

Some comments to explain my scores: I believe the cleaning had been done with “blue roll” paper towels as bits of it were still stuck to the shower, sink, and taps and needed to washed off. Many of the glasses had to be rewashed as they were grimy/greasy, as were taps in the kitchen. The bath towels weren’t great. As they were microfibre they didn’t completely dry you and left you feeling damp (and picking blue fluff off yourself for the rest of the day!) The flight of stairs up from the ground floor would benefit from a handrail. Please can someone take a can of WD40 to all the doors - the creaking was tremendous! Overall, the property was excellent and just a couple of minor tweaks could make it perfect - would definitely recommend it as an awesome place to stay!

  • "Instructions for multi oven microwave in downstairs kitchen and small shower basket for soaps shampoo etc in showers would be helpful."

But would like to say thank you for a wonderful house and stay, we will be definitely be going back. We parked our cars into asda supermarket for the full week for £22 with yourparkingspace.co.uk and walk everywhere as the house is close to everything. We all said this was our best holiday, Weymouth is wonderful.

  • "The property itself was good for a group our size."

It would be tight in the communal living area for any group larger. The table is far too big with very bulky chairs that basically take over the whole Lounge area. There should be a smaller square table that sits in the bay window but which is extendable should the space be needed. The beds were all a good size, new mattresses needed though as they have lost their overall comfort. Overall cleanliness in the bathrooms and kitchen needs a watch as I found 3 dead flies on the bathroom floor upon arrival! As the notes say, it is unfortunately quite noisy at night due to the Working men’s club 2 doors down, the pub opposite and a nightclub at the end of the road! I’m a light sleeper so found it very disturbing on the weekend nights. But during the day, the location was great for ease of exploring the harbour and Weymouth. Overall, a good place for a few days outside of summer season! The noise must be crazy in the busy season!

  • "The property was in a lovely location, close to all amenities."

The ground floor flat was perfect for our families needs and worked really well. We shall definitely be booking Pams House again next year! Small touches of refreshments, milk in the fridge, toiletries were very much appreciated. The property was clean, however there were missed opportunities, we found clothes behind the settee, toys/rubbish under cupboards/draws & the toothbrush holders (we ran through the dishwasher). Our only disappointment was that, there was no “parking permit” provided (this is the only holiday house that we have stayed in over the past 15yrs that didn’t have one) therefore you need to allow another £105 to pay for parking for the week.

  • "Pam's House was in excellent condition with comfy mattresses on all beds."

There is a dishwasher which is a definite plus for a holiday home! If the fan in the bathroom does not work, the fan switch, bathroom light and the switch on the wall above the bathroom light switch must all be switched on.

  • "Great property, location fantastic, so close to everything."

No parking for more than 1hr at property but the ASDA store about 5min walk away only charged £18 for the week with access from 06:00-10:00 pm so you can come and go as you please. Booked through (Your Parking Space web site) maybe worth mentioning on your booking site, also a few carpet stains windows that did not open or close and HDMI lead busted at rear of TV, all minor issues but we would have felt more at ease if there was somewhere to make a note or report these issues as we were worried we could be blamed for these damages. All in all a great property and I would recommend it to everyone. Boyd Davidson and family we stayed for a week from 26/05/23-02/06/23
