  • "From the second we walked into the property at the start of our stay we had a feeling of comfort."

    The property was decorated for Christmas, it felt warm, cosy and inviting. The house adequately catered for the needs of our 12 guests. Ideally located for walking to the beach, harbour and shops. Thankyou so much for a perfect stay!

The property

A large elegant end of terrace Georgian Townhouse, Seaside House is in an enviable location just a few minutes' walk from the beach and esplanade in Weymouth.

Carefully renovated by the current owners, this property boasts a contemporary kitchen and high specification appliances.

Sleeping up to twelve people, makes it great for big family gatherings or holidaying with a group of friends.

With six bath/shower rooms and three reception rooms, and with rooms on the first three floors being spacious with high ceilings, give an air of Georgian splendour, the property has something for everyone and plenty of character.

Take advantage of the kitchen, where you will find plenty of appliances to rustle up meals for your group before making your way to the dining room to eat and discuss your next adventure.

From here, break off to enjoy the sitting room and the snug, each have been thoughtfully decorated and provide the ideal space to relax and unwind after a day at the beach.

When sleep calls, head up to the bedrooms for some well-earned rest, which consist of one king on the first floor, one king and one double room on the second-floor, two twin rooms on the third floor, and finally a handy ground-floor double room, perfect for younger or multigenerational families.

Completing this fabulous property is a quaint courtyard with furniture so you can take your dining alfresco if in the warmer months.

Step out the front door; a short walk will take you to Weymouth's famous long and sandy beach with shallow waters giving you a great place to spend the day.

The beach has a traditional feel with donkey rides and Punch and Judy shows.

The town is adjacent to the beach and with a good selection of stores and has little lanes full of charming independent shops.

Eating out in Weymouth is a joy always new and exciting options for dinner.

Discovering other great places in South Dorset is an easy ride away and you may wish to visit Charmouth to fossil hunt or Abbotsbury to see the famous swans in the Swannery.

A short drive are famous Durdle Door and Lulworth cove which would make a great day out with all family.

Seaside House with it’s generously appointed accommodation for a larger family party or friends wishing to holiday together is the perfect place to stay in Weymouth.

The popular resort of Weymouth makes an outstanding year-round holiday destination, with a wide variety of attractions on offer, appealing to all tastes and ages. The glorious golden sandy beaches have excellent facilities for all kinds of watersports, whilst from the picturesque, bustling harbour you can take regular fishing trips. A short drive takes you to Portland Harbour, and the rugged “Isle” of Portland, linked to Weymouth by the dramatic Chesil Beach. Visit Dorchester, Thomas Hardy’s “Casterbridge”, only 7 miles away, or take a journey along the scenic coastal road and call in at Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens. Alternatively, just head down to West Bay - the views of the stunning Dorset Heritage Coastline are not to be missed!
