• "This is a beautifully decorated and clean apartment."

  Loved the decor. Everything you need for your stay are provided. Extra stuff is also very thoughtfully provided including a welcome pack of wine and nibbles. We were left a lovely welcome note from owner with local events mentioned. Also very conveniently situated on seafront. Bus stop outside, pubs a convenience store and chippie nearby. What more do you need on a seaside holiday?!! We,ll be back!

• "We loved our stay at Spinnaker, it was in a perfect position right on the seafront, also close to the shops."

  The apartment was clean and inviting with tea, coffee, sugar and a lovely card. The only downside was the key lock was so difficult to use, it took us ages to get the key 's and the same again to put the key's back on our leaving. The last thing was the flat door was so hard to open, it's so stiff and the noise it made was awful, it just needs planing or something. Having said that we would return and recommend to others. We found the apartment very homely and comfortable. Thank you.

• "This property is well positioned for all facilities and gives easy access to the beach."

  It is quiet, spacious and very well kept so offers peaceful accommodation for one or two people. It has everything you might need for a holiday including some things not mentioned in the synopsis. The welcome card from the owner with details of local events was very useful My only slightly negative comments would be that the pillows could do with being replaced. They are rather flat. The system for rubbish disposal was not as listed. There was no black seagull proof bag so I was not able to put the rubbish out. I would certainly recommend this flat.

• "We had a very pleasant stay at Spinnaker."

  It was very clean and the furniture was very comfortable .We liked the location as it was so central to the beach ,shops and buses . We liked it so much that we have decided that we will be returning next year, which for us is unusual as we prefer to try out different resorts .

• "On approaching the property, the general appearance of the outside of the building was concerning as, the front door was badly chipped and worn, there was a broken “For Sale” sign outside and a few bits of rubbish at the front."

  However, on entering the apartment, it was like another world as it is absolutely outstanding! It was immaculate throughout, had an extremely comfy bed and lots of extras that made our stay much more comfortable. We would definitely stay here again if we decided to return to Weymouth. Also, the location is ideal, right in the centre, a minute away from the beach and a short stroll to the harbour area where there are lots of great restaurants and bars.

• "An excellent stay at Spinnaker, thank you to the owner for leaving details of local events which we might otherwise have missed, We particularly enjoyed the various seating options in the Apartment which were all very comfortable unlike many holiday lets we have stayed at."

  The Apartment is in a fabulous location for the beach, shops, cafes and restaurants and only a short walk from the lovely harbour. There is also a great bus service with many bus stops within 1 minutes walk of the property. We travelled by train to Weymouth and likewise the station is only a few minutes walk. The owners have provided a really great place to stay and generous welcome pack and we would happily visit again. We recommend the Greedy Seagull Bistro and Oliveto Restaurant - both excellent.

• "We had an INCREDIBLE stay at The Spinnaker."

  Normally stay in a Caravan when visiting Weymouth but I’m so glad I found this apartment, so modern and clean in the most ideal location All the amenities were fabulous, they really think of everything to make your stay great. And a lovely packet of biscuits and bottles of wine for our arrival so thoughtful Thank you so much I cannot wait to be back and book to stay here again!

• "It's a lovely apartment in a prime location with nearly everything provided to make it a comfortable stay."

  As we were travelling to Weymouth by train we couldnt bring any provisions with us so it was very helpful that there was a pint of milk in the fridge on arrival plus other goodies and to my surprise there are items in the store cupboard you would have at home eg: coffee, tea, sugar, salt and pepper and even cling film, foil and food bags plus other items that you don't need to buy. In the bathroom there was shampoo, conditioner, plenty of hand soap and cleaning products, and enough toilet rolls for the week. They also supply beach towels and tea towels (not mentioned on the website). Overall nearly everything was supplied to make it an enjoyable stay apart from a couple of things. A small clothes airer would be very useful as there is a washing machine but nowhere to dry the clothes and also a brush to sweep the floors, a bit of a struggle just using the dustpan and brush! Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely come back again.

  . and a lovely spacious apartment in a lovely resort, if you are oldies like us with a bus pass there are various destinations to visit from just outside,such as lyme regis,lulworth cove,and Poole,and others. will return and to this holiday let if affordable.

• "The flat was lovely, really clean, well equipped, warm and comfortable, nice welcome basket and milk in the fridge!"

  We didn't realise the flat was at the back of the house, this wasn't clear from the description. The only issue was that the bed mattress was very soft and we didn't sleep well at all which sadly spoilt our stay in what was otherwise a great find so close to the beach and town.

  Thank you very much for your kind comments and constructive feedback. The mattress was new at the start of the 2022 season but I will be replacing it with a better quality mattress within the next couple of weeks. Property Owner

• "We had a wonderful week at Spinnaker."

  ... the location is perfect 25 meters across the road to the beach.... 5 mins to the town.... And 8 to 10 mins to the Quay.... Because of its fantastic location... It isn't the quietest ever apartment, as there are close by, popular pubs and Hotels that are busy at nights especially I would think in the summer months.. and of course you are close to everything in Weymouth, so you can't have everything. There is no parking but plenty of paid parking fairly close by, and to drop off all your luggage either use the loading bay just past the apartment.... or if that is full we used Gloucester Street and just left the car on the Double Yellow lines with our hazards on to unload. The Apartment has been nicely and recently refurbished to a high standard, and has everything you could need... only thing I missed was a microwave, but we could understand why there wasn't one, as wouldn't have been a lot of space left on the kitchen worktops. Sykes customer services were great... they let us know about an impending Fire Alarm Test.... we also let them know about a small problem whilst they were on the phone, they spoke to the Owner... and she called to sort the problem within a few hours.... We would definitely use Sykes/Dream Cottages again... and would definitely stay at Spinnaker. Thank you for a lovely Holiday.
