  • "We had a fantastic week at the Lookout."

It really is a gem of a place! All credit to the owners for a super smart renovation of an ordinary bungalow into a stylish comfortable holiday home. The whole house is light and airy with a great open plan living area with amazing views (you can see the distillery from the lower deck!). The interior design reflected the surroundings and the artwork all made the place feel really homely and comfortable - great beds too! The welcome pack of local beer and crisps was much appreciated and the owner’s information guide was excellent. It gave us some great ideas! An additional bathroom would have been useful, but it’s a brilliant place on a idyllic, restful and relaxing part of the island!

  • "The lookout was a great place with great views in a great location."

It was comfortable and welcoming . Only issue we had was the gravel drive so we couldn’t get the car to the top of the drive so had to park halfway down

  • "A lovely place to stay with fantastic views."

Owners are fab and were to sort out a minor problem when we arrived. I'd book again

  • "The Lookout had fabulous views however it didn’t stop raining and the gutters were leaking quite badly."

Facilities 80% as we cooked every meal ourselves due to bad weather and local cafes being closed. Lack of baking trays and smaller pans. Banged my head on the bathroom shelf over the sink due to the narrow sink. However, it is a beautiful property with modern interior decor. Shops are close by and in Broadford. Would not hesitate to recommend and would go again in a different season.

  • "Stunning views, beautiful location."

Very clean, warm and cosy. Great WiFi. Only problem we had was there was a lawned area advertised which wasn’t there, there was a garden area with a fire pit which was lovely but no lawn. As we took our little dog we ideally wanted a grassy garden area.

I’d go back in a heartbeat. Really helpful and detailed guidance in the folder provided by the owners. Very comfortable. Amazing views and extremely peaceful. Great if you want to switch off.

  • "We are a family of 5, with 3 adventurous and energetic boys."

The Lookout is a deceptively spacious house, beautifully decorated and maintained. Excellent cleanliness. The location is stunning and the walk down to the beach was great for using up that energy! The property manager was kind and helpful when we needed to call on him and the cleaner was just as lovely. All in all a five star review. Would definitely recommend!
