  • "We received a warm welcome from Sarah."

Felt very comfortable in her home. So many things there that we did not expect - sauces, cleaning, products, tea towels. Comfy beds, lovely and warm. Great for dogs, secure garden. Fantastic hot tub. Lovely being together with my family all in the same place. Highly recommend.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments and I do hope we see you again soon sarah Property Owner

  • "We had an excellent time at Brook Farm."

Sarah met us at the property and went through the house keeping, very friendly host who was on hand for any queries. 8 of us stayed comfortably and explored the local area on a daily basis. All facilities were of a high standard with the double banisters and walk in shower a great addition for the less able members of the group. The family room and double room have a joining door which worked well for us and gave the rest of the group a bit of space. Despite the warm weather the wood burning stove was put to use and soon heats the whole place up! The property is quirky and Sarah has plans for its development. Lots of things locally to explore too so was ideal for the dogs and children, recommend visiting Moors Valley if you stay. Just disappointed we never got to see the local deer!

A bottle of Prosecco and an Apple Cake where a lovely touch. If you want immaculate décor, check in to a Hilton. Brook Farm is a beautiful old house, full of character, in an idyllic location. Ponies, Cows and Deer regularly appear right at the gate. Views in every direction are amazing. A fantastic base for exploring everything the New Forest has to offer, and we would gladly return.

Completing the ground-floor is a well-presented shower room with support rails, ideal for those with limited mobility.

Retreat to the first-floor, where you can grab your favourite book and indulge in a hot soak in the beautiful roll-top bath, before popping on your pyjamas and catching your rest in one of the four bedrooms, including three doubles and a family room, each with splendid views, but not before enjoying the peaceful surroundings of the dark skies in the New Forest.

Wake up with a refreshing shower, followed by an alfresco breakfast with your guests on the patio, which overlooks the owner’s paddocks where deer frequent the boundary.

Venture to the nearby town of Ringwood which rests along the stunning River Avon; the town boasts a rich history and continues to hold a regular weekly market, as it has done since the Middle Ages, where you can meet the locals and treat yourself to a souvenir.

Delve into the town’s history further at the Ringwood Meeting House & History Centre, which hosts exhibitions and occasionally a craft fair, a great way to learn more about your local surroundings.

Be sure to make a stop at Liberty’s Owl, Raptor and Reptile Centre, where you can look forward to meeting a small selection of wildlife and the superb and informative shows they host.

Pack up the car, not forgetting your swimming trunks, buckets and spades, for a fun-filled family day in the coastal town of Bournemouth.

Here you can soak up the sun on the glorious sands, enjoy beachcombing the shores or treat your guests to some fresh fish and chips as you take in the stunning scenery.

Head to Bournemouth's bustling Victorian pier, where you will find an amusement arcade, a theatre, an indoor rock-climbing centre, and boat rides which will take you along the coast.

Just off the pier is the splendid Oceanarium, where you can visit the local marine life in an underwater tunnel and enjoy feeling sessions.

If you don’t fancy a day at the beach, head to the medieval city of Salisbury, with its impressive 13th-century cathedral and 14th-century clock, your inner historian won’t be able to resist!

For a truly unforgettable trip to Hampshire, choose Brook Farm.
