  • "A great location and well decorated apartment."

Very pleased overall, we did have a minor issue where the shower unit stopped working but Lakelovers were quick to respond and got us sorted within an hour.

Thank you for enjoying the place The issue you had will be looked into more throughly Property Owner

  • "This is a great little modern apartment right in the centre of Bowness but yet still in a quiet cul de sac."

It has a smart tv in both the lounge & bedroom with a Netflix account included, and every mod con including air con fans (which were greatly appreciated in the wonderful weather we had all week). For a curly haired person like myself the hairdryer with diffuser is also a great addition. You are provided with little packs with tea, coffee, sugar, milk & biscuits and there is also hand wash, cloths & washing up liquid. No shampoo etc though so you need to bring your own. There is a Co-op 2 mins walk away for anything you need. Everything is literally on your door step. Parking is slightly up the hill so you need to offload outside the flat then move the car, which is no problem. Negatives: a better variety of glasses would be good eg wine, pint glasses. The shower is a law unto itself! It seems to turn to scalding at a seconds notice. Setting it to the correct temperature was a bit of a challenge. The socket where the washing machine & microwave is situated does not appear to work. Luckily we had an extension cable with us. There are no instructions for anything in the apartment & if you’re not a tech genius like my husband you might struggle. There was also nothing to tell us what to do with our rubbish. The mattress on the bed is unfortunately pretty hard. We like a reasonably hard mattress but we actually took the duvet cover off and used the duvet as a mattress cover to make it more comfortable. Overall would highly recommend this apartment and we will certainly return!

Thank you for the encouraging comments of our precious apartment and equally the valid remarks on instructions and few other items which are much appreciated and will be taken on board and implemented. We would welcome you anytime again and thank you for appreciating the stay Property Owner

  • "This property really needed a list of instructions on where everything was and how it worked, there was nothing, we had to work it all out but got there in the end, we had no hot water on arrival and it took a while to work out how to over ride the system to get any."

Water supply to the bathroom sink is almost non-existent, this needs repair, we had to boil a kettle if you just wanted a wash in the sink. It should be made clear that the property has no immediate parking, and that parking will be a challenge every evening. It should be made clear that there are so many flights of steps you have to negotiate, I would never have booked here had we known that and the listing somewhat conceals this to be honest. Well located however with great access to Bowness, we very much liked the area

All the instructions are in the TV cabinet which are fully comprehensive . Parking is at the end of the cul de sac on a first come first basis and additional parking in overspill car park.Water Ok Property Owner
