  • "We absolutely loved the house."

Beautifully decorated, well equipped kitchen, plenty of toilets and 3 full sized fridges - which is really helpful for a large group! The hot tub was lovely, plenty of parking (including an EV charger). We were a group of 14 and had plenty of space to either spend time together or break off for some privacy. Our only disappointment was the “games room”. I’m not sure why it’s even mentioned. There is a dart board, but with only 2 darts, a small (def. It full size) fold away pool table and fuse ball. It wasn’t clean and definitely not on par with the rest of the property. It’s a shame because it could be a great addition. We all had a brilliant stay at Mainsfield and have all said we would definitely come back.

  • "Twelve adults and two children stayed at the house for a 60th birthday celebration."

The house is excellent for a large family get-together, with it's spacious bedrooms with large comfy beds, most with ensuite rooms which are ideal. There's a very modern kitchen downstairs with fantastic cooker/ fridge and an open plan dining area, whilst the upstairs chill out lounge has multiple large sofas with attached kitchenette with it's own fridge, sink & tea/coffee making facilities, great for the family get-togethers over snacks & drinks, party games and watching tv or listening to music. Some of us made good use of the hot tub x We didn't use the games room as it was a little cold which was stated on the information on the house that this would be the case when the weather was cold, although we would have used it in summer. All in all we loved our stay, the house is beautiful, would recommend it for a large party and would definitely like to return.

Thank you so very much for the wonderful feedback. It was a great pleasure to host you all for your special celebration. We really appreciate knowing which areas of the house worked well for you. Property Owner
