  • "It was a warm, comfortable apartment."

The views across the bay were stunning. Parking was easy, right outside the door. It was well equipped, (maybe an oven glove) could be handy. Otherwise I had a lovely stay. The landlord was super helpful.

Thank you for your very positive feedback. The oven glove has obviously gone walkabout and will be replaced ASAP. We are so pleased that you enjoyed 382 On the Bay and its setting. Property Owner

  • "Lovely large rooms few stains on lounge carpets."

Black dog hairs on side of bed frame. Decor a little tired, Could do with blinds at kitchen window instead of net curtains. People at the Church next door were continueously up and down just outside the window and as you have to go through the kitchen to the bathroom it would make it more private

Arrangements are in hand for the redecoration of the sitting room and the entrance hall. The carpet will be professionally cleaned when the decorating is completed. Regrettably and in spite of a polite notice, some guests leave their dogs in the flat when they go out for the day. My wife and I visited last week and saw no signs of any dog hair at the side of the bed. This reflects the excellent service given by our housekeeping/changeover ladies. The church has recently opened a food bank on Fridays and Saturdays and this has increased the use of the path at the side of the church. We are seeking estimates for the supply and fitting of curtains at the side of the conservatory facing the church. Thank you for your comments; the feedback is useful to us. We do hope you enjoyed your holiday, as many previous guests have done. Property Owner

  • "The apartment was lovely and spacious and clean, the rooms were a really good size with fantastic views across the bay from the front window."

The location was perfect, across the road was straight onto a dog friendly beach and a short stroll along the front took us to all the bars, cafes and shops. We had a slight issue with the tv as it was not connected to an aerial but we did work it out in the end, we are not very savvy with technology!! All in all a great apartment for the price.

Thank you for your positive feedback. We're pleased that you enjoyed your stay at 382 On the Bay and that you took advantage of all the facili6ties both in the flat and the local area. The TV engineer sorted the problem, which was an intermittent fault on the signal feed cable. It is now working OK. Sorry for the inconvenience. Property Owner

  • "Not really suitable for dogs."

..the garden not really suitable could have been tidy-up a bit more.and the stairs not suitable ..a bit more lighting in the garden.. the flat was great clean and tidy....would be OK for family....

We're sorry that you found the garden unsuitable for dogs. Previous dog owners have enjoyed the garden and the security which it offers. We appreciate the comments about the need for 'a tidy up'. This was done last weekend: (after you had departed). The flower bed at the side next to the church is due to be cleared when the patio is being re-laid. This is in hand for later in the year when things are a little quieter. We're pleased that you found the flat to your liking. Property Owner

Appreciate there being a fridge/freezer in the kitchen this year. We had a great holiday. Lovely owners who went to the trouble of finding out the local cycle hire places for us.

Thank you for your positive feedback. We were so pleased to see you again this year. We hope that the cycling went well. We understand that you both have electric bikes at home so no doubt you made good use of the hire bikes. We trust the cricket was enjoyed and that the garage is not too uncomfortable !! • "Loved the wonderful view of the bay from living room window."

This room is fabulous and spacious. The kitchen contained everything you may require. The bedroom is a nice big room with a comfortable bed. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The property is so close to the beach and only a short walk to shops, bars and cafes. Also very handy having Spar shop just around the corner. A draught excluder to place by the entry door would be a bonus due to the large gap at bottom of door.

Thank you for your very positive comments. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay at 382 on the Bay. There was a green crocodile excluder behind the door, but it has disappeared. It is not easy to find a draft excluder in the summer, but we will keep looking. Property Owner

  • "We had a great week at 382 the Bay."

Great location: opposite the dog friendly beach. The view from the living room was wonderful. The small conservatory on the back was very comfortable: full of light & sunshine. The property has large rooms with high ceilings. Cleanliness is important to me & I have given the property 5 stars for this as well as location & comfort. The small back patio was fully enclosed which was great for our dog but needs some TLC to make it a comfortable sitting area.

Thank you for your comments. We're pleased that you found things to your liking. We're working on the gardening - gloves on! Property Owner

  • "A spacious, thoughtfully equipped, warm and comfortable bolthole."

We loved our morning cuppa in the conservatory, loved the quirky back garden and, coming back early on a cold wet day, it was a real pleasure to enjoy the bright sitting room with incredible views over the bay. The smart TV is full size - ignore the photos! Situation is about as good as it can get. Easy walk into the centre, even for us octogenarians! Loads of buses in either direction, bus stops almost outside the door, and a Spa shop just round the corner selling almost everything. It even has a free ATM. Yes, maybe the decorations could do with a tweak in places, but, all in all, a great break at a reasonable price. In fact we have booked to go back in four weeks time.

We are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Property Owner

  • "Me and my partner had a lovely weekend away in Morecombe and the stay we had here was lovely."

Great self catering apartment, a lot bigger than appeared in the pictures which is a bonus and we had chosen a weekend with nice weather, the view from the front room out onto the bay was incredible and we spend our evenings catching the rest of the warmth in conservatory with a good book provided by the owners. Directly across from the beach was a bonus for us and helped increase our experience and enjoyment being close to local amenities and the promenade, Being somewhere that welcomed our pooch and provided a bed and bowls (if required) was really helpful. A great little flat and well worth staying at. Both myself and my girlfriend agreed we would return to Morecombe and the surrounding areas and try get back in this top place.

  • "The accommodation was mostly clean and comfortable."

There is some bad staining on the living room carpet, also one of the chairs in the sun room. The kitchen had everything you needed for self catering, the gift of a bottle of wine and chocolate bites was a nice touch. The bathroom was clean and the over bath shower, from the mixer tap, was surprisingly good. Plenty of hot water. Much appreciated given the inclement weather at the time of our stay.

Thank you for pointing out the staining. We're pleased to say this was taken care of by our very efficient cleaners. So glad that you found everything to hand in the kitchen and bathroom. Sorry we couldn't do anything about the weather. Property Owner

  • "A lovely apartment with great views across the bay."

Perfect location for popping into Morecambe. Apartment is dated but the price to rent does reflect this. The security lamp in the kitchen is annoying, says its to be left plugged in but is taller than the cupboard doors so just gets in the way all the time. The landlord did enter the garden without warning which could have been ugly if mu dogs had of been out!!! He should have the courtesy of contacting the person hiring the property first. Overall, really enjoyed our stay. Thanks

We are pleased that you enjoyed the apartment and its beautiful location. We have sorted the security light in the kitchen, i.e. (removed it !). The apartment above is our family holiday home which has access front and rear. The gardens are for the exclusive use of guests. We were unaware that any dogs were included in the booking. • "An old property which will be interesting to see how it is developed."

I've marked it down for cleanliness because a) there were peanuts in the bedroom, b) there were crumbs in the kitchen, c) there was soap scum in the bath and d ) the air fryer (well done for having one btw) was so unclean it was "I'm not eating out of that". Oh I forgot there was hair on a bowl in the kitchen. It was cold so not comfortable and the heating was not under our control. When it was under somebody else's control it was too hot, which proves how important it is that we decide. It was 13 when we got in. Managed to get it to 18 after 4 hours. We shall stay after its been updated.

We are disappointed to receive these comments. Firstly, regarding the heating. A new boiler was installed on 17th. November with new temperature controls and is working correctly. The settings can be controlled manually by the thermostat in the hall or electronically. These details are in the information booklet. Regarding cleanliness. We will discuss these comments with the company responsible for the cleaning and changeover. Property Owner
