  • "A fabulous place."

The 4 humans and 5 dogs had a lovely time in this truly dog friendly place. We spent a lot of time in the garden just relaxing. Will definitely rebook if we are ever coming to the area in the future. The only issue was we weren't with you long enough!!

  • "A lovely place to stay - a nice touch of design and luxury to the place which we appreciated."

David made the stay an absolute pleasure with all the information we needed and some lovely goodies upon arrival. The accommodation is planned with relation and enjoyment in mind and there are lots of good tech (for kids / teens / and adults !) to your traditional board games / movies etc. Location is quiet / peaceful as part of a local village - but with quick access to the main roads in the area. Only thing to be aware of, is if with elderly guests or those with limited mobility the upstairs “bedroom suite” would be hard to use as the half-stairs are a tad steep and you need to take care (especially if after a glass of wine !) Would recommend this place without reservation and the late summer stay we had to enjoy the lovely garden and evening sunshine was bliss ! So much so we are back going again in 6 weeks !

  • "My stay at the Coach House with my daughter was perfect."

Location directions were clear and concise. On arrival we explored the accommodation and it was spotless. Plenty of clean towels and linen for all the bedrooms. The welcome hamper and the milk in the fridge was a lovely surprise. The kitchen is very well equipped, we could have hosted a dinner party with all that was there. The furniture was lovely, the sofa was so comfortable I didn’t want to get up and go to bed. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are steep (as described in the booking details) but the bedroom and bathroom upstairs were as wonderful as everything downstairs. My only suggestion is maybe some sort of window coverings upstairs as the spring sunshine can wake you up if you’re trying to have a lie in. There are three tv’s and free wifi so teenage guests or anyone needing internet access will have no worries. The outside space was very nice. We didn’t use any of the patio furniture as the weather wasn’t cooperating but it was there if we needed it. Parking was good, and having the electric entry gate provided security, even though I don’t think anything untoward was likely to happen, Cranwell Village is a lovely quiet village. A short stroll down the road to the Willows Country Tearoom for a lovely lunch is highly recommended. The Coach House is perfectly situated to explore nearby Sleaford and Lincoln, and further if you want to. Just a few minutes from the main Sleaford to Lincoln road, but far enough to be not bothered by noise or traffic. We weren’t disturbed by our hosts at all, but the fact that they were right there if we needed anything (we didn’t) was great. As we left I did go and say goodbye and compliment them on their lovely property. Do I recommend the Coach House? 100% yes! Will we be back? Definitely!

Lovely welcoming touches. Only slight issue was staying with 3 children as seating together to eat was a bit tricky as only a small folding table to eat at. There is however a lovely outside dining table but it wasn't quite warm enough to use during our stay although we did enjoy breakfast out in the garden one morning. Description and pictures are a true likeness to the cottage. A lovely welcome pack on arrival was much appreciated. Some constructive feedback for an even better stay would be a mirror in the bedrooms for hair and make up. Blinds in the top bedroom so you are not awake the moment the sun comes up. The owners dogs, although lovely barked in the evening outside our bedroom window resulting in our baby waking up every night. Bottom of the showers need a good clean. Overall a good stay and would definitely recommend.
