  • "Friday to Monday break."

. lovely little Cottage nicely modernised. Everything you need. Very comfy bed. Only worry would be that the garden isn't secure for your Dog, however not a problem for us as we went out everyday walking and our dog never needed to go in the garden. Will book again when we are in Lincolnshire.

  • "We had such a wonderful break in Lilac Cottage."

The location was excellent being only a few miles from the lovely market town of Louth and a few miles from nature reserves and the coast. The village itself is surrounded by a great public footpath that takes you on a circular route through fields and back again and both us and our dog absolutely loved the walks. Everyone we met in the village was really friendly which was a bonus too. The cottage itself has everything you could need and is super relaxing. A real home from home.

Thank you very much for your lovely comments, we are so very pleased you had an enjoyable holiday. Property Owner

  • "What a wonderful cottage."

Spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable. It was in a friendly village with lovely walks and two shops, a community cafe, another cafe, pub and Italian restaurant on the doorstep. It is in the perfect position for enjoying the best of Lincolnshire and very close to both the sea and The Wolds. We would highly recommend staying here.

  • "We were very pleased with our stay at Lilac Cottage."

It was very welcoming and cosy after a long wet journey. We also appreciated the lovely welcome pack that was left for us and the coffee, tea and sugar that was available. It was very clean, nicely decorated and with a well equipped modern kitchen. The linen and towels were of excellent quality and we found the bed very comfortable. It is situated in a lovely area with plenty of walks in the countryside and only a short journey from the coast if that is your preference. Louth is worth a visit and in Alford The George Inn is a good place to eat. Eating at the Cottage there is a well stocked Coop within walking distance.

  • "This is a lovely clean cottage and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a break in the north Lincolnshire area."

My only criticism is that we could have done with a lightweight summer quilt as the nights were warm while we were there.

It was warm and cosy and spotlessly clean. We lacked nothing, every possible need was provided. The bed was warm and comfy and the bath/shower was fabulous. Beautiful kitchen with all the appliances you could ever need. The coast and countryside was on our doorstep and we loved exploring these. We will definitely return and recommend this gorgeous cottage as a wonderful place to stay. Joy & John
