  • "Absolute gem!"

    This cottage was very clean, comfortable and well appointed, everything that we needed. It was in a great spot for Lincoln itself well as other Lincolnshire destinations. The location was so quiet and peaceful and the hosts very friendly. Highly recommended!

  • "A great place to stay and use as a base to visit local attractions."

    A number of local walks, the Fox & Hounds is only a short walk away and serves good food and beer. Using the Park and Ride to go into Lincoln was easy and only £3 return. Visiting Bomber Command and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight are certainly worth while. Also saw the Red Arrows flying near the Let.

  • "This property is ideally situated, close to Lincoln, for exploring the wider surrounding area, and is comfortably furnished with all the necessary equipment provided that you will require upon your holiday."

  • "We chose the property for its location."

    Very close to Lincoln, with a regular bus service into the town, castle etc. Also a pub within walking distance that does food, and several others close by. Well located for other attractions, airfields, NT properties, and even the coast only around an hours drive away. Particularly impressed by the Woodside Wildlife Park so close and several small nature reserves and walks. The weather was not too good, so no problem for us, but the outside of the property was just a scrubby area of weeds and broken tree branches, with just one small folding wooden seat, so we could not have sat outside had the weather been better. The property itself was fine, well equipped and well arranged in a smallish space, had everything we needed. We personally struggled a little with the small bed, which unfortunately we both found not very comfortable. Nigel and Charlotte.

  • "The cottage is in a quiet village, a short drive from Lincoln, there is also a bus route which takes you straight there and cheaper than parking charges, all the attractions are easily reached."

  • "What a lovely cosy cottage, well equipped and very clean."

    The local area has so much to offer within a short distance. Lincoln is very pretty with lots to see with nice shopping and eateries, the Cathedral is stunning and well worth the admission price, our top recommendation is Sunday lunch at Marco Pierre White's restraunt by the mariner in Lincoln. Many thanks for a wonderful stay and we hope to see you again in the summer !

  • "Just enjoyed a fortnights stay in the a very modern functional property sited in a lovely Lincolnshire village."

    Ideally sited for touring Lincolnshire with a handy reliable half hour bus service into Lincoln, well done Stagecoach. The property is well maintained and friendly host Hayley is on hand next door. We would certainly use the property in the future our stay June/July 2023.

  • "We had a lovely week at Copse View very comfortable and well equipped perfect for a home from home holiday in a peaceful village."

    Cherry Willingham not far away for those esssential bits, shops and takeaways. Very central for lovely days out in and around Lincoln bus stop not far away for a day out in Lincoln. A must to visit is the International Bomber Command Centre for an excellent day out . Lots to see and do in the area Tattershall Castle, East Kirby Heritage Centre, Woodhall Spa so many other places too.

  • "A delightful little property very clean and welcoming had just what you needed for a relaxed stay."

    In easy reach of Lincoln. The facilities were good and i especially liked the shower easy to use and stayed at the right temp all the time, struggled a bit with the cooker as used to gas not an induction hob but got their in the end.

The property

Resting in the small village of Reepham is Copse View, a detached annex on the owners ground.

Set over a singe-storey and sleeping two guests, Copse View is a romantic dwelling for your next trip to Lincolnshire, just a short driveaway from Lincoln city centre.

You are welcomed to the property by a spacious gravel driveway, where you can park one car in a shared space, whilst to the side of the property there is an enclosed and private garden with lawn, patio and furniture so you can enjoy a bottle of wine under the stars or take your morning coffee out into the fresh air.

Stepping into the property, find an open-plan living space; cuddle up on the sofa as you enjoy an evening of good television, or let your loved one cook you a romantic meal in the well-equipped kitchen to enjoy at the dining table as you toast to a wonderful trip.

Moving into the bedroom, there is a double bed and another television, for when the evening draws to a close and you begin to relax and rejuvenate.

This is complimented by a spacious en-suite bathroom, where you can take a long soak in the bath or freshen up with a quick shower.

Copse View is just a stone's throw away from the village pub, The Fox And Hounds Inn, which makes for a great evening out.

Take a short drive to the neighbouring village of Cherry Willingham where you can be sure to find food to suit all tastes with two further pubs, a Chinese takeaway and a fish and chip shop.

Nearby is the cathedral city of Lincoln where you can walk the walls of the castle, climb the tower for views over the city, go on a shopping spree, or visit some interesting attractions, such as the World War II museums, present day airfields and the International Bomber Command Centre.

Also in the area you can experience feeding and hands-on wildlife encounters at Woodside Wildlife and Falconry Park, take a stroll around the 100-acre of Victorian landscaped gardens with a lake and woods at Hartsholme Country Park, or learn something new at Lincolnshire Road Transport Museum.

Reepham is a small village where the village shop also acts as a Post Office and newsagents, and there is a cricket club, a primary school, a Church, Methodist chapel, and The Fox and Hounds Inn which serves food and drink. A regular bus service connects the village with the city of Lincoln, as well as the neighbouring villages of Fiskerton and Cherry Willingham. The nearby village of Cherry Willingham has a couple of extra convenient shops for any essentials, a playground, a Chinese takeaway, a fish and chip shop, two lovely pubs which both serve food and offer outdoor seating, and a popular BMX track. You can also take a short drive, or bus, into Lincoln city centre, where you can visit the striking hill-top medieval cathedral or Lincoln Castle which you can walk the walls of, or climb the tower, taking in views over the city. Lincoln also has great shopping with quaint and quirky independent shops in the cathedral quarter, and a number of aviation attractions, from World War II museums to present day airfields and the International Bomber Command Centre. Other local attractions include Doddington Hall, Whisby Nature Park, Hartsholme Country Park, Lincolnshire's transport museum and Woodside Wildlife and Falconry Park.
