  • "Lovely time with multiple family members."

Lots of games and things for kids to do.

  • "We had a good time for 5 nights at this lovely spacious dog-friendly house, which was perfect for a large family of 9 with 6 very well behaved dogs ,no doors downstairs which made the house flow well but no privacy or quiet areas, the two double beds were particularly comfy as were the singles but be mindful if a lot of adults as other beds are bunks."

The off-road parking was ample. The location was excellent, with the beach and shops a 5 minute walk away, the enclosed back garden, all decking though smallish and directly next to the neighbours is without grass, but ideal for dogs, eating outside using the hot tub etc . The social areas, especially the pool table, were great and made for a fun family time. However, there were a few areas that could use improvement, some parts of the outside areas are grubby, cigarette butts in the planters and old sweet wrappers etc left around under the steps by the hot tub and the fake grass area was dirty with an old some plastic pool in one corner and was not an area that could be sat in at all but useful for the dogs! The outside could just do with a bit of general TLC front and back, Some parts of the house, including the pans and BBQ weren't as clean as we would have liked and needed cleaning before using, but kitchen was well equipped including coffee pods, not a waste paper basket in sight though not even in the bathroom which was inconvenient. Additionally, there was a lack of instructions on how to use the cooker, heating system, and hot tub which would have been helpful.( heating was coming on and house was very hot with no knowledge of how to adjust , and did not want to bother the owner ) Overall, despite these minor issues, our family enjoyed our stay. The house had plenty to keep everyone entertained, The host was very helpful and we appreciated an early entrance .
