"Overall the cottage was very good."
Description was accurate. The cottage was clean, well presented and comfortable. Kitchen was quite well equipped, only 2 dinner plates although 4 of everything else. If you're taking your dog make sure to take bowls etc as none available at the property. Unlike other cottages we have stayed there was no welcome pack and milk would have been very useful on arrival.
We had difficulty locating the cottage, not realising it was tucked down a gated courtyard. There was no lighting in the courtyard, arriving at 6pm (November) this was a problem. We always carry torches so had to retrieve those to walk through the courtyard to the cottage. We also kept these to hand when arriving back after a day out.
We would stay again, as the town is on the doorstep and the cottage is in a great location for lots of amazing walks and not too far (10 miles) to the sandy beach.

"This is lovely cottage in a picturesque little town that has all your needs covered."
It's a great base for exploring Snowdonia, Barmouth and the coast.
Check out the Mawddach trail to Penmaenpool toll Bridge (pub!) or all the way to Barmouth. A great place to visit.

The owners had thought of everything: from blankets for the sofa to make staying in warm and comfortable, to toiletries and extra bedding. We have stayed in Dolgellau several times, but this cottage was our favourite.

Car parking a drawback but that was clearly explained in the description. The little touches take it to another level... Big variety of tea/coffee, nice bathroom toiletries, and bottle of wine on arrival. Great location for pubs, shops, restaurants. Would highly recommend!

A great location with lots of places to visit not too far away. Nice little touches with a selection of luxury flavoured teabags and a variety of toiletries. Parking not a problem, could park on the road three minutes walk away. Cottage two mins walk from the centre. Would highly recommend!

The owners couldn’t be more helpful and are on hand to sort out any problems or queries and to give general advice about the area, which was helpful.
The only small gripe we had was that car parking locally was a bit of an issue with most of the town limited to one hour stays, fortunately parking inspectors seemed to be few and far between but if not this could add car parking costs towards the overall costs of the stay - not made totally clear on the website.

"Gorgeous cottage in a fabulous location."
A very short walk from the local village which is so lovely and has everything you need including nice pubs and restaurants; and a short walk from some fantastic country walks. The cottage itself was decorated beautifully and kept in pristine condition. We would love to return one day

"We loved our stay."
The cottage is lovely and super comfortable. The kitchen was also stocked with lots of helpful things for cooking and other useful things such as tea, coffee, kitchen foil, washing up liquid etc. which we really appreciated. The hosts were very helpful and kind and also left us some lovely biscuits and wine. Thank you so much for a great stay!
