  • "We enjoyed the very quiet location, and the extensive grounds were lovely to explore with our dog."

The house was clean and comfortable, and the rooms bigger than we expected from the photos. When approaching the property from Cross Inn, be sure to turn left after the garage, not right as stated in the instructions. The postcode given works well with satnav, so easiest just to use that.

We are delighted you enjoyed your stay and thank you for the lovely comments. We will get the directions corrected! Property Owner

  • "The cottage is very clean and comfortable."

The owners have provided ample towels (although we had brought our own), toilet rolls and bedding. The kitchen had everything you needed for cooking and the dishwasher is a bonus. There is a utility room with a large drying rack which came in very handy when we became soggy from the rain! As we visited during a period where rainfall had, and continued to be fairly heavy, we couldn’t use the garden very much as it had become a bit of a quagmire! The children did enjoy the rope swing when it was finally dry enough to use it. Despite the weather we did visit a variety of places including Devil’s Bridge, Poppet Sands (Cardigan), Aberystwyth and Dolaucothi gold mines. All of which were very enjoyable to visit.

  • "Lovely cottage, comfy beds, comfy sofas."

Nice big dining table where we had our meals and played boardgames. Kitchen well equipped to make easy meals and there was a selection of kitchen stables as well as coffee and tea. Owner's were super nice, messaging before the holiday to day bring wellies and they let us use the cabin in the garden, which has an extra bed. Dog loved the garden and we walked around it a lot, definitely needed wellies. Our dog is reactive and was lovely being completely alone, the odd car does occasionally past the house and the neighbours cottage is offset across the road, but we felt completely isolated as and peaceful. You can do walks and bike rides straight from the house, everywhere was quite muddy, so wellies or good walking boots a must. We also took some day trips out, lots to see and do in the area.

Thank you so much for the kind review. We are delighted you had a lovely stay and would welcome you back anytime. It's definitely a good idea for wellies this time of year! Especially with all the rain this year. Property Owner

Everything we needed. We should of taken wellies but it didn't stop us walking around. The sounds of the stream and wild geese added to it.If you want complete peace and quiet this is the place to stay.Even better when all the trees are out. A definite return for us.

Thank you for the lovely review! Wellies are always a good idea! We are delighted you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you back. Property Owner
