  • "We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage, great location and being a few steps from a fantastic pub was a lovely bonus."

The cottage had enough room for the two of us and our dog and we will definitely be back.

  • "This was our third stay in the Triangle Coach House."

Since our last visit it has undergone some significant improvements, which only add to its's overall appeal. Fab location, great pub on the doorstep serving beautiful home cooked food, together with a genuinely friendly team who always go the extra mile...what more can one wish for!

  • "The property is very cramped, more like a studio flat size than a terraced house."

It also lacks basic facilities like Wi-Fi, washing machine and freezer. Do not be taken in by the misleading listing of Wi-Fi as a facility - there is no Wi-Fi router in the house and no Wi-Fi.

In response to you Miss Wright…. We do have Wi-Fi and if you had come to us with your issues it would mean we would have entered the cottage to help you. If that had happened we would have seen the damage you were inflicting on our property. In 18 years of letting the cottage it has never been disrespected in any way like you have caused. We’ve cancelled bookings because of you and incurred costs of around 3k to make it right. People like you should come with a hazard warning. Property Owner

  • "We liked the little cottage, the kitchen was small, but we know that when we booked."

The living room was fine with nice big chairs also we slept very well in the king size bed. Only one pitty thing there was no wi-fi in the cottage also not in de pub. We've been eating three times in the pub ( Triangle Inn ) and that was terrific good food and very friendly staff. We will thank the owner for helping out for finding a save shelter for our electric bikes. We enjoyed the time in Triangle Inn cottage!

Ideal location for the elan valley and only a stroll to shops in Rhayader. We would definitely use this cottage again. A plug for basin would be good.

Triangle Inn Coach House is a quirky escape for a couple looking to explore the wonders of the Elan Valley, lying opposite a local pub, The Triangle Inn, you can embark on adventures outdoors and look forward to returning to a well-earned drink.

Enter this sweet dwelling and be welcomed into the quaint kitchen, where original exposed beams line the ceiling as well as one timber pillar placed in the middle of the space, it offers a rustic charm amidst the contemporary appliances.

When you aren't sampling the food from the local independent restaurants and pubs, cook up some tasty dinners on the electric oven and hob, with a microwave and fridge here too, and perch at the breakfast bar neatly tucked in the corner.

Also resting on the ground floor is the shower room, feel refreshed in here after a rigorous ramble.

Travel up the stairs to find a lovely spot to wind down, here you'll find the open-plan bedroom and sitting area; take a seat in one of the two large armchairs before the TV, and when you're ready to turn in, get under the covers of the king-size bed to prepare for another exciting day.

Anglers can delight in a wide selection of fishing in the Elan Valley with Rhayader and Elan Valley Association managing a series of dams forming four reservoirs which are well-stocked with wild brown trout, or head to Llyngwyn, a 16-acre natural lake hosting rainbow trout too.

Those looking for just a leisurely stroll or a challenging hike can all be impressed with the Elan Valley terrain, with the Elan Valley Trail a particular favourite of both walkers and cyclists, while a walk around Drygarn Fawr involves two climbs and takes you to the highest point on the Elan Estate for some spectacular views.
