The property was made so welcoming by the owners with special touches that we really appreciated. To wake up every day and see the amazing views from the lodge felt such a privilege, it’s such a beautiful place. Was also an ideal location to take our dog for walks right from the lodge. As we stayed late Oct/Nov we wondered if the lodge may be a bit cold, but this wasn’t the case it was extremely cosy. We couldn’t recommend the Bryn Eiddon enough and can’t wait to visit again!

  • "Our stay was amazing and what a beautiful place!"

Exactly as stated on the website, but the views cannot be done justice in the photographs. Absolutely stunning. The lodge has been very well thought out and it is well equipped with a good sized fridge/freezer - which is rare! The only slight negative for me, personally, was that I found the double bed was too hard and I'm used to memory foam pillows, which these weren't. However, this is only my personal preference and I state this only because I knocked one smiley face off the "comfort" review. I would certainly recommend this location to anyone looking for a peaceful, Country get away with a great hot tub! We were lucky enough to stay whilst the weather was gloriously hot and sunny. I took a comfortable camping chair with me to enjoy being outside, which was a good decision, as the only furniture on the outside decking is wooden. If you are lucky enough to have great weather, I would recommend taking comfortable outdoor sun beds and chairs to make the most of the amazing views outside. I would like to thank Bethan and family for a wonderful stay! We would love to return!

  • "This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed at Bryn Eiddon and probably not the last."

We were blessed with the fantastic weather last year but not so lucky this year! Nevertheless, our stay was just magical once more and the weather did not stop us doing what we wanted to do as we’re quite outdoorsy people. However, what’s truly magical about the place is its location. I was born and bred in Wales but I was never lucky enough to witness the view that you wake up to every morning at Bryn Eiddon, it’s truly stunning, with sheep grazing only a few feet away from you. No camera in the world can do it justice and you simply have to be there to experience it. I felt really homesick driving home to Stafford yesterday after spending a week at such a stunning lodge with even more stunning views. All of my friends are completely envious when I show them photos of this incredible place. I shall definitely be returning.

  • "I really enjoyed my stay at Bryn Eiddon and found it to be a lovely cabin that was comfortable and well equipped."

The location is lovely and the views around the mountains is stunning. A couple of things I would say about the cabin is that people may not get a mobile signal in the cabin. I had to go a mile down the road to get a signal. Netflix services were intermittent with buffering - so watching a film could be frustrating. Bryn Eiddon stands on it's own grounds but I wouldn't describe it as secluded as it's on a road which is frequently used for bike club outings and can be quite noisy. Also advise holiday makers of any delivery services that might be available from super markets etc. Suggested improvements: Provide a slip mat for the shower, a shelf in the bathroom, a coat-hook for the bathroom and a toilet roll holder. Provide loungers for the patio instead of a bench seat.

We had the best weeks holiday here. The views are incredible, the property was the cleanest holiday rental we've ever stayed in. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and a pleasure to cook in. Bethan the owner is lovely, very friendly and helpful and left us a nice bottle of prosecco. Watching the sunset from the hot tub and then stargazing in a perfect dark sky. Seeing tiny newborn lambs curled up right on your fence line when you open the blinds in the morning. Red kites and buzzards flying so low overhead you can see their colours clearly, all perfect memories of our time here. A few things to be aware of, the internet can be a little unreliable for Netflix etc but great for browsing. We managed a WhatsApp video call with our son on my husbands Birthday but neither of us had any phone signal. We kept our dog on a long lead when in the garden, we didn't want him getting excited by the sheep and causing any distress. We would love to return one day and totally recommend this place for a romantic and perfectly secluded holiday.
