  • "Cottage is absolutely fine."

If you are over 6ft it will require a lot of crouching. If you have a large car or van, parking is a not easy.

Thankyou for staying at Cosy Cottage and for your feedback Mark. The parking space is not suitable for a large van or camper van. I have amended the description to identify that parking is available for a medium sized family car with further free parking along the Street. With regards to the height of a couple of the door frames, they are low as it typical with a cottage of this age. Property Owner

  • "We really enjoyed our week at this cottage."

It’s in a peaceful little village with very friendly residents and ideally located for exploring the wider area. The house came equipped with pretty much anything we could have needed and the welcome guide was detailed and thorough - which was a great help at times. Parking at the rear was good and secure and the enclosed garden was absolutely lovely to spend time in. A big thank you to the owners for a great stay and for the welcoming treats on arrival. • "A neat clean and cosy cottage in a charming little village."

Well equipped for most people’s needs. Only drawback is a very steep set of stairs up to the bathroom and toilet.

Hi Stephen. Thankyou for staying at Cosy Cottage and for leaving your nice review. We're sorry you found the stairs steep but this is often the case in the older Norfolk Cottages. Property Owner

  • "The cottage is small."

( the clue is in the name) but big enough for 3 and a dog. It's was clean and well equipped . The biggest issue for us was the WIFI. I had a little work to do but couldn't do it. The WiFi is so slow that we could only connect one thing at a time. If we watched TV then that was it even with the TV off my off my laptop was to slow to be useful. Please put faster WiFi in

Thank you for staying at Cosy Cottage Stan and for leaving your feedback. It's always appreciated. Re the WiFi, I haven't been aware of any issues to date. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. I will be contacting our service provider. Property Owner

  • "We enjoyed our week at this pretty cottage."

It had been made very welcoming and homely with everything one would need for a comfortable stay. The garden across from the house was well looked after and secure for our small poodle. Our only criticism was that the cottage could do with a thorough clean, particularly the kitchen and bathroom. Apart from that it is very well placed for touring around the area and we did not regret booking it. Bawdeswell itself is a lovely village with a small Morrisons supermarket on the high street.

Thankyou for reviewing your stay at Cosy Cottage. We are very pleased that you enjoyed your holiday. Please accept our apology that you felt the cleaning was not up to standard. This is very unusual as we always score highly on cleanliness. We take on board your comments and a deep clean is planned this month. Once again, thankyou for taking time to leave a review. • "We'll appointed property in a nice rural location."

Slightly confusing instructions concerning rubbish disposal but, apart from that, no complaints. PS. Thanks for the Christmas decorations - a welcome surprise.

Thank you so much, John, for staying at Cosy Cottage and for your review. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay and hope you have the opportunity to visit again. The issue with the waste disposal is that it is collected by a commercial company and this happens to be on a different day to the waste collection in the area. Property Owner

  • "The Cottage was beautifully presented with plenty of sweet touches."

It was very central and the coast / Norwich are very close. All the neighbours are friendly and I would recommend this property as a good base for Norfolk. Morrisons just down the road was an added bonus.

  • "Lovely cottage."

As there is limited storage it would he helpful if the owners took out a lot of their personal things in drawers and cupboards. This gives more room for paying guests to store their things. There is too much clutter in areas which should be kept for guests who are paying a premium to stay.

Thank you for staying at Cosy Cottage. There are no personal items at the Cottage. Everything there is for the use of the guests. We do appreciate your comments. Property Owner
