  • "What a lovely place - the 'wow' factor was there as soon as we walked in."

Despite just being a 1 bedroom bungalow it felt light and spacious everywhere and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the bottle of wine was much appreciated! We loved it there and hope to return one day.

thank you for your lovely comments Joan. We are so pleased you found Kingfisher Lodge comfortable....we look forward to welcoming you both back....Trudie & Wes Property Owner

  • "Clean, spacious and comfortable accommodation."

The safe, enclosed patio at the rear of the property was ideal for our dog and is close enough to the sea to sit outside listening to the waves. Beautiful! Just a couple of minor suggestions would be the provision of washing up liquid as using the dishwasher for just 2 people is impractical for this low amount of guests and costly for the owner. Also, checking of all utensils between hirers is advisable as the provided cheese grater was rusty and unusable. One other issue that is VERY important and wasn't made available was the provision of a contact number for the owner. Should there be an emergency relating to the property during the holiday, guests should be able to contact either the owner or a designated person for assistance. We had a very enjoyable week at this delightful property and the weather was fabulous.

thank you for your feedback and glad you had an enjoyable stay. we do normally ensure there is washing up liquid available which is normally filled up by the cleaner but I'm assuming the bottle was thrown away by previous guests and was simply forgotten about. we do normally leave our numbers with with the welcome card along with the local surgery, hospital and vets numbers, I also believe our numbers are in the black folder but will check this. so sorry about the cheese grater...we do normally go over to the property but have been away for a couple of weekends hence been unable to get into the Lodge before new guests arrive....we will purchase a new one today and pop it over ....thank you once again Trudie & Wes Property Owner

Parking can be an issue if you have a long car, as the drive is shared with a property at the end facing the sea and cliff. They have to open there gates in order to get in and out. Our car was a bit long and stuck out of the small allotted space at the back of the cottage, but found if we parked diagonally they were able to open their gates fully back.

A well equipped bungalow with good layout. The kitchen had everything you would need plus comfortable furniture in the lounge. The big tv screen was a bonus for watching the cycling in Spain. Found the bed excellent and had good nights sleep. The enclosed patio area was very good to let my dog out. The bungalow is ideally positioned for beach trips or further inland to Norwich and the Norfolk Broads.

The bungalow is really spacious and comfortable with everything in it that you could possibly need. It is very well maintained and beautifully decorated. The heated bathroom floor is a real luxury and also keeps the room lovely and warm. I honestly cannot fault it, we will certainly be back and will also recommend this little gem to everyone.

  • "Lovely cottage and certainly has the wow factor."

The only downside is a ring doorbell/camera and another camera recording in the garden. This was not stated on booking and felt very uneasy whilst in garden as didn’t know if we were being listened to and watched. There is a sign on patio window to state 24 hour recording!! But this sign isn’t in photos on site but cameras are, now we know that is what they are.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry this wasn't made clear before your arrival, but the cctv is only in use when the property is empty, we should of made this clear and hope you accept our apology....we have now stated in the property that the cctv is not in use whilst guests are staying, but I can assure you there is no Ring doorbell at the property. we hope to welcome you both back very soon....Trudie and Wes Property Owner
