It was a great privilege to stay in such a lovely home filled with character and charm. It had everything you could ask for and so much more! The enclosed garden was gorgeous and perfect for our Toy poodle to explore!
It was a great location for both walking and driving to beautiful Norfolk villages and towns ( that is if you can tear yourself away from Fallowfield!) We ( four of us and two dogs) ) particularly enjoyed our walks on the coast and dunes . We did some of the walks you provided and will have to return to do the rest!
Thank you again, to the owners , for being so hospitable and for the generous and delicious Welcome Pack. We will definitely return.

"Absolutely amazing !"
A truly memorable stay in a stunning location. The house was everything that was promised and so much more.
The only thing we would say is bring back the old guest book where people write handy info about the local area. The digital handbook was great but a hard copy would also be nice.

"What a wonderful holiday!"
Fallowfield was an excellent choice for 5 adults and 2 dogs for an Autumn holiday. The house just went on an on and was incerdibly homely, Winterton On Sea and Hemsby were fabulous and excellent for the dogs. A short walk would take you to the sand dunes the steps down once navigated are fine but alternatively walk through the delightful village to the beach. We used to drive to nearby Hemsby or the car park by Winterton Beach where there is a wonderful Coffee Hut. The hot tub is more than a bonus it's a necessity! Would highly recommend.

Large bedrooms , great facilities, lovely landscaped garden and obviously not forgetting the hot tub which was used daily. Very close to beach and Winterton-On-Sea village with yarmouth a short drive away. Book it you won't be sorry.

"Perfect property for for our requirements."
Such a lovely house with all we needed fully enclosed garden for the dogs to run free a spacious living area where we were all comfortable and able to chill watching the tv. Winterton is a quiet village with a lovley pub only 10 minutes from from the house, it was also only a 5 minute walk to the beach. There is plenty to do in a 30 minute radius and a special mention to Poppylands in Horsey a 1940's themed cafe with a lovely shop. All in all would highly recommend Fallowfields great communication with the owners and very clean.

"As three couples who have been meeting every year in a self catering property for the last ten years or more, we can confirm that Fallowfield is as comfortable and well presented as any property we have had the good fortune to find."
There is a large enclosed garden which is well maintained and the hot tub was clearly well looked after. Inside there are three comfortable seating areas and a kitchen with plenty of mugs, glasses, crockery, pans and cutlery. There is a useful utility area for those with dogs. The property is well situated with the sandbanks and sea a few minutes walk away down some steps and a footpath. There is an easy walk to Winterton on Sea and the pub and shop. It was very quiet and peaceful both day and night. It’s a good centre for trips on the Broads, the Bure valley railway, the seals near Horsey and various coastal villages. Nick was very easy to communicate with during our stay and we all had a most enjoyable week. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

"We’ve hired many a self catering place over the years but you really couldn’t wish for a better bolt hole to spend a week…."
or two! An amazing space for a group of 6-8 people, spacious enclosed garden, perfect if you own a dog and you also want a bit of privacy. Hot tub, garden chairs, loungers, large table to sit and eat at. Inside is a wonderful little rabbit warren downstairs. The bunk beds with separate shower room and loo plus the king bedroom with en-suite is on the ground floor. Upstairs two other bedrooms and a shared bathroom.
Downstairs the kitchen is amazingly well stocked with pans, dishes, crock ware cups and glasses. We managed to cook up a roast dinner and had plenty of serving dishes etc to achieve this without any hassle. Biggest dining table you could ask for when self catering for the larger group. TV lounge spacious and very comfortable, two other rooms including a conservatory if you want to peel off from your group for a bit of quiet time. Even a utility room with washer & dryer, airier or pegs and basket if the weather is good to hang your swimming costumes outside on the line provided.
Winterton on sea is just delightful, sea, sand dunes and cafés for a cuppa and something to eat after a long beach walk. If you want something less challenging underfoot (the sand dunes can be a bit hard on the ole calf muscles! :0) Sea Palling beach is a short drive with again a lovely sandy beach and café. Norwich, beautiful architecture and shopping plus is a short train ride from Gt Yarmouth if you don’t fancy driving.
Evening eating, take aways available nearby and the Fisherman’s Return is a must, generous portions, lots of inside and outside seating with a friendly atmosphere.
Finally, Nick the owner gives you all the information you require at the start of your holiday with contact numbers if you have any questions or problems (which we didn’t) lovely guy who deserves a five star review for offering a wonderful place to spend your holidays - thank you Nick

"We had a lovely stay at Fallowfields the house was large enough for 8 of us, clean and tidy."
We had 2 dogs who loved to roam outside in the enclosed garden. It is close to the beach but had to walk through the dunes first, this wasn’t a problem for us as the dogs loved the walks. We visited the seals which was 5 mins up the road by car, did a boat trip and went into Great Yarmouth. Apart from the weather being quite wet for the week we still managed to make the most of it.

"Fallowfield was a lovely spacious comfortable house."
Well presented, situated in a good area not far from the beach. Ideal for us with a bedroom downstairs for elderly parents, teenagers enjoyed the hot tub and dogs had fun in the safe enclosed garden. A very relaxing break with sunshine on the garden room in November!

"We have had a fantastic week at Fallowfield."
The bungalow was spotless clean when we arrived and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. The bungalow had everything we needed for a home from home holiday and was beautiful and so spacious. The immaculate garden had plenty of seating to sit outside to enjoy the late September sunshine, and the hot tub was very relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

The village itself was lovely and so close to a lovely dog friendly beach.
The owner was easily contactable when we had a question about the washing machine.
I would definitely recommend this holiday home.

"A really lovely house in a beautiful village, and so near to the sea and dunes."
Perfect for our 3 generation family plus dog. The garden is really secure, with lots of space for play. A slight problem with drainage in two of the bathrooms but not enough to spoil our great week. Maybe a bbq would be a useful addition, but otherwise everything you need.

Fallowfield is a lovely, large house and was in excellent condition. The beds were comfortable, and the cleanliness was superb. We stayed here for a week, along with my daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren. So spacious, and the three full shower/bathrooms were a bonus. The house is well equipped, and the area is so quiet, yet within reach of such lovely places to visit. The well stocked garden was a delight to relax in. Would definitely recommend this house for families. We hope to return again.

"We had a wonderful and supremely relaxing week away at Fallowfield."
It is an absolutely superb, spacious property and Nick, the owner, was really helpful and responsive. The facilities were perfect in every way and if you have dogs or kids the enclosed garden was brilliant as they could run around to their heart's content and you could sit in the hot tub and watch them too if you liked, make use of the patio furniture or sit in the conservatory. It was minutes to the beach (via some steps) and the beach cafe wasn't far along, the village shop and tea room was lovely and the Fisherman's Return was great too.
The owners also put an information booklet in the property to suggest other places to visit and I felt that nothing was too much trouble.
It would be great for a large or extended family and there was plenty of parking with two sets of well built gates so you could shuffle cars around if you needed to. It is all very well considered at Fallowfield.
We booked the property because our motorhome had a fault but I'm so glad we got to stay at Fallowfield. It was absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much Nick !

"Excellent property."
Clean when arrived with plenty of amenities. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The space to the property is amazing! Our dogs and my little boy absolutely loved the garden which has so much privacy too. The only downside I could say is the sofas aren’t the most comfiest if you’re planning on having a lounge, watching a movie in the evening.
But saying this we would definitely come back to Fallowfield though and absolutely love Winterton on Sea which we have travelled to on numerous occasions for a break away.

"We have stayed in many holiday cottages and homes over the years and Fallowfields is one of the very best."
It is spacious, clean, extremely comfortable and well equipped, it is also just a stones throw from the dunes and beautiful dog friendly beech. The wrap around garden was fully secure giving us peace of mind that our two dogs were safe at all times. We had a great week and we will definitely return.

It’s perfect for a family get together as the garden is fully enclosed allowing peace of mind and it is a great location for the beach and holiday fun for all ages - for two legs and four! The facilities were great and pretty well thought through. The only couple of things I would say would make it perfect would be making the shower upstairs fully useable and more lamps in the lounge. Thank you for a great two weeks - we will be back!
