• "The cottage was cosy and warm."

  The facilities were excellent. The only things I would recommend is a shelf unit near the bath as there is nowhere for your sponges etc while in the bath. Also a teapot would be nice. But overall would definitely recommend and will be returning for another stay.

• "Sheringham is a charming little seaside town with a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants and a pleasant atmosphere."

  Seaspray is conveniently located in a quiet street between the high street and the promenade. We found the house to be clean, warm and very practical for ourselves and two medium sized dogs. The furnishings were of good quality, the sofa and bed comfortable, which made for a pleasant and relaxing week. There is no parking outside the house but there were two car parks within 3 minutes walking distance, and cost £34 for the week. The only things that were missing were glasses large enough to hold a bottle of beer and a teapot! We hope to return to Seaspray again next year, as we consider it to be one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed in. Well done to the owners.

• "The toilet door didn’t shut properly and we had to put a towel over it at night to stop it banging."

• "We absolutely loved Seaspray."

  It was immaculately presented and very comfortable. It was just moments away from the centre of the town, beach and all facilities. Parking in the car park was a three minute walk away. . We would definitely like to come back again. The only suggestion we would make would be a rubber mat in the shower tray as it was very slippery.

• "We stayed from Friday till Monday with our cookerpoo, and we all loved it, it was a cosy, comfortable cottage, there was a lot of loud music from the local pub, which we got used to very quickly."

  We loved the location in terms of being in the centre of town and so close to the beach. Parking at a nearby car park was easy and just up the road. We would definitely look to book again. Jo, Paul and Luna

• "5 star cottage, 5 star location and would highly recommend."

  Wanted to give positives first as its beautiful place to stay. The only thing I'd say is advertise for 1-2 small dogs only, plus explain only tiny courtyard at the front. My cocker spaniel cleared the wall and ran into the house opposite which housed a cat. No dramas and the couple opposite were delightful. Beautiful decor & we virtually stayed in Sheringham the whole time because we loved it. Dog friendly beaches far left & far right.

• "Just a few negatives to begin."

  I think the previous guests must of had a dog as there was a strong doggy smell when we arrived.The noise from the local pub needs a mention,spoiled an otherwise perfect location.And the cottage needs a full length mirror.All that said it was a lovely little place,well equipped and perfect for getting around on public transport. Sheringham is a lovely location,everything you need is there and apart from the noisy pub ,it's quiet and well worth a trip

• "The property has been refurbished to a high standard and is very comfortable and in a great central location."

  There is a car park nearby that needs to be factored into the costs of staying here at £8.50 per day , although passes could be obtained at a lower cost for longer periods. The cottage is dog tolerant and not dog friendly, it really disappoints that the rules for dog stays are only given after the booking, dogs not allowed on furniture, upstairs , and you have instructions that all dog hair must be removed before departure. This meant we had to hoover before we left to make sure that no traces of the dog existed in the property. No facilities at all for your canine companions, you have to bring everything from beds to bowls. The owners obviously realise the value of customers with pets and want to attract the pet owner market but it all seems a bit grudgingly. There is no enclosed garden as advertised. It is the front of the property which is a paving slab width and not suitable for your pet. Please remove the enclosed garden description in the property description. The another point for consideration is the arrival time of 3pm and an departure by 9.30am. It is a tiny one bedroom property , how on earth does it need a five and half hour turnaround time, meaning a very late arrival and a crack of dawn exit. International guidelines would at least be a 2pm arrival and a 10am departure or later. Also please check your electrics , the lights in the entire property dimmed and turned up on their own constantly. We originally thought it was haunted but soon realised it’s a fault and happened for the duration of our stay. All in all it’s a lovely accommodation for a couple and think you should market it without the pet friendly part as it’s not suitable for pets. That all said you have a lovely property in a great location and is great for a couple for a getaway.

• "We really enjoyed our weekend in this very cosy cottage."

  It is ideally situated near to the seafront and shops and cafes. It’s very well equipped and has been finished to a high standard. However the sofa ( and the pillows on the bed) aren’t very comfortable. Also it would be nice to have been told that only two pieces of wood are supplied for the stove.

• "Beautiful little cottage in a fantastic location."

  As other reviews have said, we did struggle a bit with the lock on the front door, but other than that, absolutely perfect. Pubs, high street and beach right on the doorstep. Comfy bed. Nice and cosy. Great for the dogs too. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

• "The property was tastefully decorated fantastic bed and linen."

  My wife thought the personal touches were nice. The only thing that spoilt it for me was the chair and settee that were uncomfortable. ( only my opinion ) I like chair/settee’s to have more back support.. I also was concerned about my car from a safety point as I wasn’t able to watch the car as the car park was out of view. Value for money was excellent.

• "Seaspray Cottage is really lovely."

  There's nothing not to like. It was spotless, nicely decorated, comfortable, well equipped and the bath was an extra added luxury! The location is handy for pubs, cafes, shops and the sea front. Outside space is very pleasant and residents living nearby are very friendly. I would definitely recommend this cottage.

• "A beautiful cottage, set in a perfect position."

  You have amazing Cleaning Staff, they need to be praised for the cleanliness of the cottage. We knew there was ‘No Parking’ but easily found one within a five minute walk of the cottage. Lovely to get to know the permanent residents too! Everything you would need, in the kitchen, is provided. Loved our stay and will go back next year as it is close to where my elderly Uncle lives. Perfect.
