• "This was our 1st time at The Cart Shed."

  We were very happy with our stay. It was five minutes away from our daughters who lives in the village. It had everything that we needed, a lovely walk in shower, very comfortable bed, although a bit too warm for my personal taste. We will definitely be booking again and hopefully seeing the grounds in full bloom. Thank you to Jane and James.

• "Great location spotlessly clean and everything you need."

  Shower head needs replacing as leaking. For us the only downfall was the loud music and foul language from next door. It could be heard above the television and closed doors.

• "We really enjoyed staying at the cart shed."

  It is set in a lovely peaceful and tranquil place where you can really relax and unwind with a abundance of wildlife.We even had a deer on the garden one of the mornings.We would definately go back again and we were both sad to leave.It was so comfortable and spotlessly clean.We even played tennis one day which was great fun.We would highly reccomend the the cart shed and im sure we will return one day.

• "The Cart Shed is a delight, full of charm and very tranquil."

  It has been equipped and maintained to a very high standard and the owners are friendly and helpful while respecting our privacy. The location is excellent for exploring mid and north Norfolk and the immediate surroundings provided us with sightings of grey wagtails, a green woodpecker and a hare. • "Beautiful renovation of farm building."

  Excellent decor & equipment. Wonderful view from sitting area. So peaceful, in a very rural location but conveniently situated to access North Coast and the Broads. • "North Norfolk is a favourite destination and I think The Cart Shed has now become our favourite accommodation!"

  The owners have carried out a first class conversion from, as the name suggests, a farmyard store, to a cosy luxurious cottage for two. There was everything that you could ever need for a self-catering break and this is a property with all-year-round use with the provision of underfloor heating for those chilly evenings while in the summer months, full width glass doors provide uninterrupted views across the opposite meadow, with grazing sheep during our visit. Located down a quiet lane but easy to find and not far from main (for Norfolk!) roads, there's a tranquil atmosphere and the lack of traffic noise means that you can hear birdsong constantly, and little else. The owners, Jane and James live in the adjacent farmhouse and were always available although not needed but a very useful local area guidebook was a great help. All in all, a real gem and highly recommended.

• "The property was in an excellent position with excellent views and a lovely quiet location to appreciate the nature."

  The property was of a high standard and we have no complaints in any way as it was as described and in excellent condition. The only comments I suggest are a set of headphones for the TV as if one wants to read or go to bed then the other can not watch the TV due to being in the same room or advise customers to bring a set. The other is some dimmable lighting on perhaps just the pendant lights to give more subdued light when sitting. Please do not take this as a criticism but only as a suggestion as we had a wonderful stay.

  Perfect for 2 people, it is cosy & everything is really clean. If it is warm enough there is a lovely place to sit at the front of the property where you can watch the sheep in the field opposite. The owners are very friendly & helpful but leave you to your own devices which is great. Would definitely recommend staying & we will return next year.

  Well thought out and very comfortable. It has everything you need and a very comfortable bed and a fabulous bathroom. We enjoyed a fabulous long weekend here, very peaceful. We watched the bats flying around and spotted a Tawny Owl and barn owls right from the door (we could hear the too ) The owners were friendly and informative without being intrusive. We definitely would stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property.
