Would’ve loved to explore more had the weather been permitting! Easy and regular bus service to Caernarfon - would recommend!

  • "The cottage is stunning and in a lovely location."

It was disappointing to note that notable defects with the TV and arm chair have not been resolved despite featuring in general reviews for several months. Overall the property is looking a little tired in places.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage, always wanted to stay in a cottage on the green and would do it again, the cottage was lovely and very clean throughout we didn’t want for anything, the garden was very overgrown especially coming in from the back gate you had to fight your way through especially when it had been raining you got a bit wet carrying your stuff to and from the cottage and putting the waste in the bins so we had to use side gate more, the furniture in living room wasn’t that comfortable couch was hard and low as it’s a sofa bed and arm chair was damaged, don’t like writing negative reviews as the cottage was wonderful and would definitely stay again just our thoughts and not everyone would say the same, but all in all had a lovely time

  • "Although the general cleanliness of the cottage was acceptable, there were a few areas that needs to be looked into."

The window frames and door frames need cleaning. The blinds in the bathroom need replacing as they are filthy. The chair in the lounge is well past its prime, as you sink into it where the springs or support has gone, so it is not comfortable to sit in. The carpet being beige shows up every stain especially where you walk through and the garden path needs to be cleared so you can walk through it easier. If these things were sorted then this cottage would be delightful it is in a lovely position by the river with parking at the rear.

  • "The cottage is situated perfectly for access to local walks and the scenery around is spectacular."

The local pub Prince Llewellyn and a beautiful little restaurant Bistro Hebog are a short walk from the property and we would highly recommend both for food and hospitality. The cottage needs updating, the kitchen is freezing, the small heater in the kickspace is broken and we would highly recommend is fixed. The sitting room has a dining table which has seen better days and is quite uncomfortable and unstable. There is a lounge chair which needs replacing. The TV for some reason kept turning itself off and it is dated. The bathroom is tired and could do with the sealing replaced and the blinds as they were stained and quite dirty. The bedrooms were really comfortable and clean, we could not fault these rooms. If the cottage was updated and a few things replaced we would highly recommend, the village and surrounding areas are amazing and the property with the suggested improvement would be a lovely place to stay.
